As a Tradesman, you will work under the supervision of experienced field professionals to learn the technical aspects of the job, including equipment operation, tool and material identification, and safety protocols. Physical Requirements: * This position requires the performance of moderate to heavy physical work: Tradesman may be required to lift up to 100lbs occasionally, up to 50lbs frequently, up to 20lbs constantly, and perform activities such as bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, and grasping for up to five (5) hours without sitting. * The position may also involve some repetitive motions of the hands, wrists, and elbows. Working Conditions: * This position is normally performed in a jobsite work environment which does subject the employee to the elements. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud, and hearing protection may be required under certain conditions. * This position may require a flexible schedule, periodic overtime, and overnight travel as needed. The HVAC technician will be skilled in cleaning, adjusting, maintaining, and repairing systems. You will guide and advise the customer to select the most appropriate air quality system to fulfill their requirements. You will be responsible for air quality systems from installation to end-of-life by performing maintenance, warranty, and emergency repairs on all manufacturers pf equipment. To be successful in this role, customer satisfaction, safety and comfort should be your top priority. Ideal candidates will be patient and have excellent organizational and troubleshooting skills. Installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment. Identifying maintenance risks on equipment. Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems. Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems, and performing warranty services. Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently. Providing technical direction and on-the-job training. Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions. Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with the Occupational Health and Safety Act. Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements. Assisting with customers' queries. Install experience and able to run multiple man crews for larger equipment installation.
