Setup financial & operational goals in company software.
Review, schedule, and analyze project milestones as instructed.

Responsible for the timely distribution of construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and request for information to client and team.
Support change management efforts.
Facilitate timely estimating, including project changes or work outside project scope.
Manage project closeout, create maintenance and operation manuals, and other required project closeout documents at the competition of project.
File, organize and categorize the materials associated with the project.
Meet expected timelines.
Other duties needed by the project manager and the team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare, fabricate and install sheet metal duct to specifications
Install hangers, supports, according to plans or shop drawings and applicable specification
Hoist loads using slings, chains, shackles, hooks, cables, and other rigging equipment
Read and interpret project drawings and specifications
Lay out of work including hanger locations, duct routes, and equipment pads/curbs
Installing rectangular, spiral and duct board with occasional insulate duct work
Identify safety risks and the precautions required to eliminate those risks
Ability to occasionally work in an attic or underneath a structure in crawl space
Qualifications:
A valid driver's license
Clean driving record
5 years of experience with commercial sheet metal duct installation
Ability to read prints and construction drawings
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Effective communication skills
Physical activities of walking and lifting of weights of 50 pounds or more are required, standing, balancing, climbing stairs, ladders, and scissor/boomlifts in accordance with safety policies
Trade knowledge of all joint methods for sheet metal duct including but not limited to slip and drive, TDC/F, and Ductmate
Must be capable of working outside in the elements including but not limited to the heat, cold, rain, and wind
OSHA 10-hour card
Will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to: hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, safety vests, gloves and steel-toe boots.

This is a seasonal, entry-level position open to active students pursuing a college degree in a field applicable to construction, with an interest in Project Cost Estimating and/or Project Management. The Estimating Intern will be responsible for assisting the Estimating Department by learning the basics of our on-screen takeoff software and preparing quantity takeoffs from engineered drawings.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Perform onscreen takeoffs of piping and/or ductwork systems
* Prepare quantity surveys of material from plans and specifications
* Enter counts into Trimble AutoBid estimating software
* Perform administrative tasks to support the estimating department
* Perform other duties as assigned by the Estimating Manager
Specific Knowledge, Skills, License, Certifications:
* Fast learning, focused, and driven individual with an interest in mechanical piping and plumbing systems.
* Ability to accurately and consistently execute processes and provide the same quality work product daily.
* Ability to take directions from departmental managers and/or instructors.
* Exceptional written, verbal communication skills and listening skills
