Management is inappropriate and unprofessional; verbal berating and excessive focus on appearance over work performance. Toxic accounting team culture: gossip, drama, favoritism, mental manipulation, and emotional toll. Unclear responsibilities; constant addition of new tasks without compensation or clear communication. Unrealistic workload expectations (e.g., 20 days’ worth of work expected in one week). Micromanagement and harassment through constant forwarded emails and berating for response times. Hostile environment for anyone who doesn’t conform to unspoken appearance standards. Racial and cultural favoritism reportedly impacting workplace treatment. Stressful environment negatively affecting mental and physical health Invasive, inappropriate comments about physical appearance from head of accounting. Personal information weaponized against employees; no safe space to share or trust. Cult-like atmosphere where negativity is normalized and questioning the environment is discouraged. You will need to go to therapy after dealing with the accounting team. Please take note that none of my cons should be taken as a direct hit to the CEOs, these are for the accounting team, particularly the head of accounting.
They fire all their employees so you will be lucky one day to be released. There were a handful of genuinely good people that I met here, they made the place a little lighter. The emotional and mental toll from working with the accounting team taught me to set firm boundaries and prioritize my self-worth.
Getting fired
I never got the chance to work with them directly but anytime I saw them in office they made sure to say hi and be really engaging in conversation.
Prioritize professionalism by focusing on employees’ work performance, not their personal appearance. Set clear, reasonable expectations for workloads and responsibilities, and fairly compensate employees for added tasks. Foster a culture of respect and professionalism by addressing gossip, drama, and toxic behavior immediately. Implement proper management training to prevent verbal abuse, micromanagement, and harassment. Create a safe, supportive environment where employees feel comfortable asking questions without fear of being berated. Eliminate favoritism and ensure that all employees are treated fairly, regardless of race, culture, or appearance. Respect employee privacy by discouraging the misuse of personal information and leading by example. Encourage healthy communication and genuine support instead of cultivating a culture of fear and emotional manipulation. Provide mental health resources and actively work to reduce the causes of stress within the workplace. In all honesty leave your personal life out of your employees space, that is none of their business and it fosters a very unhealthy dynamic, especially young folks who have the heart and compassion, you are using them in a way they don’t get paid for.
Googling interview questions and the company
Horrible
No bueno. I think they hired people from different backgrounds to check the box but it was obvious there were cliques. They did a great job the first couple weeks to appear like everyone was friends but sure enough you will see it’s a facade.
The 3 people that were actually nice to me
