Job Description
Join NineStar Connect as a Residential Service Consultant and make a real difference in your community! In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for our residential customers, assisting them with their Electric, Communications, Water, and Wastewater services. You'll answer questions, resolve issues, process information, and help customers make the most of their NineStar Utilities - all while providing outstanding service and support.

This groundskeeping position at Goodwill of Central and Southern Indiana (GCSI) is a result of the AbilityOne program in partnership with GCSI and the federal government to provide healthy operations and environments at local federal facilities. The AbilityOne program is one of the largest sources of employment in the United States for people who are blind or have significant disabilities. GCSI is one of about 500 non-profit organizations that provides employment opportunities in competitive, integrated environments at federal government locations.
The Groundskeeper maintains the grounds and property of the assigned federal government location. Maintains high quality standards when mowing, trimming, and blowing the property while putting the safety of customers, teammates, and the public as a foremost priority while performing tasks. Additionally, responsible for snow removal at the property.
Example Duties and Activities
Mows, cuts, and waters lawns.
Prunes shrubs and trees to shape and improve growth and/or removes damaged leaves, branches, or twigs.

I. Job Summary
Manages the full fleet of primary and secondary equipment, and continually focuses on achieving market base profitability through effective management of all fleet and maintenance activities within the assigned area, including cost control, management development, and high training and safety standards.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Ensures safe and reliable vehicles are available to meet operational requirements. Conducts fleet evaluations to ensure maintenance standards are met.
* Manages maintenance managers to ensure performance and cost focus across the area.
* Reviews capital equipment requisitions in line with Corporate guidelines and objectives.
* Manages effective utilization of vehicle assets.
* Ensures maintenance shops are adequately staffed and mechanics are properly trained.
* Ensures vehicle management systems are effectively utilized.
* Complies with and ensures adherence to WM's Mission to Zero standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient operations.
* Meets all financial review dates and corporate directed programs in a timely fashion.
* Assists in budget process as required.
* Assists in creating a positive team-oriented environment through employee development and motivation.
* Ensures the cleanliness and maintenance of the maintenance shops through regular inspections and preventive maintenance programs.
* Oversees personnel needs of the department including selecting, coaching, and training staff and maintenance managers, and evaluating employee performance. Provides input into termination, compensation, and promotion decisions.
* Motivates, coaches, counsels and disciplines managers according to WM's policies and procedures and ensures that maintenance managers are in compliance with the standards in their administration of counseling and disciplinary steps.
* Provides training and presentations as needed in a positive and professional manner.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Ensure that all merchandise is on the sales floor and displayed according to the merchandising plan developed by corporate.
* Manage and train the following operational duties; accessory receiving, informational POP tagging and promotional POP execution, placement of price tags and spot light placement.
* Ensure that all merchandise (new and clearance) is priced correctly when displayed, making all changes to price in a timely manner when necessary.
* Maintain store floor plan to match AutoCAD produced by corporate.
* Partner with Category Business Managers on transferring/flooring orphan product.
* Audit IOWN form and input data.
* Use an understanding of color coordination, visual balance and interior design to develop attractive and innovative displays to maintain the showroom to the highest standard.
* Partner with RVPM in all creative elements within the store environment including painting and interior design elements.
* Ensure floor merchandise condition is being maintained/repaired to showroom quality.
* Ensure any non-clearance floor merchandise sold from the floor is re-ordered & replaced.
* Ensure store warehouse is organized according to plan and kept clear of clutter.
* Oversee and participate (if needed) in cleaning of front entrance, restrooms, and backrooms.
* Organize and keep clear channels of communication within the organization and with your superiors.
* Hire, develop and manage Floor Support.
* Participate in Inventory Audit twice a year.
* Undertake and complete other work-related responsibilities as assigned by Manager.
* Monitor consistency and execution of visual presentation directives, signage and merchandising standards.
* Ongoing reinforcement and communication of visual presentation standards.
* Participate in monthly design challenge.
* Satisfactory driving record is required

The Retail Associate assists the store management team in reaching the operational goals of the site by functioning in various capacities within the retail location. The titles of the various jobs the Retail Associate may be called upon to learn and work include: Cashier, Textiles or Wares Producer, Donation Door Attendant, eCommerce Producer, e-Books Producer, and Rack or Cart Runner.
Example Duties and Activities
Cashier:
Rings up customer orders, maintains a balanced drawer, and follows all cash handling procedures and protocols.
Provides general information about Goodwill programs to educate customers and answer questions. Directs all higher-level questions to the appropriate associate or manager.
Maintains cleanliness of the sales floor (purge, size, run racks, and merchandise).
Textiles or Wares Producer:

Loads and unloads trucks as needed and regularly uses heavy equipment, including a pallet jack, double stacker, floor scrubber, and hydraulic lift.
eCommerce Producer:

Stays informed of the market value of merchandise through eBay and other Internet shopping sites to properly tag, itemize, and secure items in totes for ClickGoodwill and educates team of eCommerce high ticket items.
Properly, efficiently and carefully pack curated products onto pallets, wraps, and ships totes to ClickGoodwill to meet the store budget regarding totes shipped per week.
e-Books Producer:
Scans books received by the store and decides what is sent to ClickGoodwill or displayed at the store location to meet the store budget.
Prints inventory sheets and packs, seals, and ships totes for ClickGoodwill.
Identifies top sellers and manages a clean, organized, in-store sales-effective display.
Rack and Cart Runner:
Checks each rack/cart to ensure quality and value.
Properly sizes, merchandises, and purges the sales floor.
Maintains a clean and orderly sales floor, puts away carts, and stocks shelves.
Runs one textile rack/wares cart per 15 minutes and updates daily production tracking sheet.
