What you will need to be successful: * Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Manufacturing, or Engineering or a combination of experience and education. * 5+ years of experience in planning and launching new production lines in low-speed environments such as rail, aviation/aerospace, naval, and heavy equipment. * We would be impressed if you have proven experience in the rail industry, with a focus on light or heavy rail production. * Proficient in SAP or similar MRP/ERP systems. * Possession of relevant certifications such as Six Sigma Black Belt, Lean Certification, OSHA Safety, Certified Manufacturing Engineer, Supply Management, EIT, or Professional Engineering License. * Hands-on experience in customer service, maintenance, or aftermarket businesses within the rail industry. * Expertise in lean methods and tools, including 5S, 7 Types of Waste, root cause analysis, Yamazumi Methods, Kanban, Value Stream Mapping, ABC-XYZ Analysis, and Lean Shop Floor Management. * Experience in developing technology roadmaps for automation.
