Position Overview:
Siemens Mobility is growing and look to add a Chief of Staff to the VP Rail Services. This role will play a pivotal role in supporting the VP in managing and delivering multi-projects across various manufacturing platforms. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment. This position can be based in either Sacramento, CA or Lexington, NC.

The Security Systems Senior Sales Executive is committed to supporting our new construction business within our commercial Security Systems team. Our Service/Solutions Security Sales team will achieve booking and profit goals by developing and implementing plans to grow, develop, and manage contractor, consultant, developer, and end-user relationships; capitalize on sales opportunities within the territory; and effectively execute sophisticated deals independently within our established guidelines. As a Security Systems Senior Sales Executive, you will:
* Achieve new order/booking and profit goals based on your assigned quota.
* Develop and maintain a qualified funnel of opportunities including forecasting expected order intake. Deliver on forecasted results consistently.
* Develop a comprehensive understanding of the marketplace, competitor offerings, customers, and decision influencers across the region, segments, and verticals within the region. Keep current on security market business and product trends.

* Consult with the customer and determine budgeting and investment requirements.

Position overview:
As a Material Handler I, you will support a broad range of activities in a dynamic, high energy warehouse environment providing all material to production departments for manufacturing the best rail vehicles in the world.
What your day would look like:
* Specific area or responsibility may include receiving, put away, picking, kitting, or delivery of material to production.
* Ensure transactional accuracy for all material movements - i.e. ensure the correct quantity of material is moved to the specified location, and MRP system transactions are completed correctly.
* Ensure all material is properly identified with appropriate labels and part numbers.
* Carefully handle material to prevent any damage during handling in the warehouse or delivery to production.
* Immediately notify supervisor of any quality or delivery issues

Our Associate Project Managers are responsible for supporting the Project Management team with the successful execution of projects, from project initiation through final closeout. As an Associate Project Manager, you will:
* Support the project manager during all phases of the project including milestone deliverables, documentation, case management, and financial aspects.
* Develop and deliver monthly status reports, customer progress reports, customer change proposals, and presentations to management and internal/external stakeholders on an as-needed basis and drive final customer acceptance milestones including completion of all documentation requirements, including commissioning, acceptance, and closing financial documentation.
* Organize and deliver small-scale projects while being responsible for managing the finance, schedule, change orders, and customers and coordinate to develop and maintain a project schedule and coordinate needs with the project and site teams. Identify time-sensitive project needs.
* Track resources and project progress. Participate in customer meetings, drive them on behalf of project managers as needed and capture notes during all phases of the project: from project start to close and punch list meetings and capture punch list from site commissioning and drive closure through close coordination with Siemens field service technicians, customer care team, project managers, factory personnel and vendors. Attend meetings with customer and Siemens site team to update on progress site punch list.
* Document project events that impact the acceptance schedule, scope of work, and project efficiency, identify solutions and review with project manager to drive actions to minimize schedule and cost impact to the project and orientate for project field service technicians and provide all necessary project documentation, including scope of work, drawings, applicable specifications, application-engineered drawings, project contacts, etc.
* Schedule project-specific commissioning resources and provide commissioning documentation and ensure field service personnel scheduled to visit project sites have reviewed project documentation ahead of site visit.
* Expedite the return of project-specific mark-ups during project development and support completion of project-specific close-out documentation and own and drive all aspects of the close milestone processing to achieve timely and clean project quality gates.
* Work in a team environment providing dedicated support to our customers.

Basic Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or state-recognized GED
* Experience (either on-the-job or through education) with project management and engineering
* Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of fire alarm systems as well as the ability to read and understand basic electrical drawings and customer specifications.
* Experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
* Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations

What you will be doing:
* Plan production operations, define workflow, and establish priorities and production sequences to meet project and interdepartmental requirements.
* Meet project targets for safety, quality, schedule, and direct labor hours.

* Facilitate positive communication with entire team on a regular basis to keep them informed of work status, department performance, process changes, and company policies.

* Ensure production vehicles are ready for in process inspections from internal and external customer inspectors in the Final Assembly Production area in advance of shipping vehicles.

What you will need to be successful:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Manufacturing, or Engineering or a combination of experience and education.
* 5+ years of experience in planning and launching new production lines in low-speed environments such as rail, aviation/aerospace, naval, and heavy equipment.
* We would be impressed if you have proven experience in the rail industry, with a focus on light or heavy rail production.
* Proficient in SAP or similar MRP/ERP systems.
* Possession of relevant certifications such as Six Sigma Black Belt, Lean Certification, OSHA Safety, Certified Manufacturing Engineer, Supply Management, EIT, or Professional Engineering License.
* Hands-on experience in customer service, maintenance, or aftermarket businesses within the rail industry.
