$425 mileage & $35 cellular reimbursements. **monthly mileage and cell/data reimbursements are paid on a non-taxed basis Job Purpose Responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of security alarm wiring and equipment and access control equipment. Act as assistant to Project Manager and delegate tasks to other team members while maintaining a professional manner. Essential Duties and responsibilities Inspect installation sites and study work orders, building plans, and installation manuals in order to determine materials requirements and installation procedures have been met Install, maintain, or repair security systems, alarm devices, and related equipment, following blueprints of electrical layouts and building plans. Mount and fasten control panels, door and window contacts, sensors, and video cameras, and attach electrical and telephone wiring in order to connect components. Test and repair circuits and sensors, following wiring and system specifications. Test backup batteries, keypad programming, sirens, and all security features to ensure proper functioning, and to diagnose malfunctions. Keep informed of new products and developments. Request orders for replacement parts. Performs a variety of marginal duties not listed, to be determined and assigned as needed. Identifies, troubleshoots and resolves hardware, software, and basic network related problems encountered by end-users of the network. Has a understanding of IPV4 and how to assign a computer an IP address. Complete projects within budget, on time, and in a safe manner. Maintain the company's high standards of quality and professionalism with regards to workmanship, customer relations, and team members. Submit all paperwork on time. Adhere to all required project specific as well as company safety requirements. Perform other duties as may be assigned. Must have average levels of eye/hand/foot coordination. Must be able to climb up and down ladders (8 feet routinely) Must be able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl in all environments (basements, crawl spaces, attic/ceilings, etc.). Experience and Education: 5+ years low voltage field experience. Prior supervisory roles with experience having reporting staff. Professional communication and delegation skills.
