Key Responsibilities Assist with project #1, #2 and #3 Shadow Mechanical Team members to learn both rotating and static equipment Attend team meetings and contribute ideas Prepare reports, presentations, or documentation as needed Create and present a Project Presentation at the end of the internship Other duties as assigned Project Details Primary Project: Pump Audits and Pump Bad Actors - Audit Areas and Validate System (SAP/EDMC), Design Specification/Data Sheet Development or Validation (3 to 5 pumps), Review with Asset Engineers and Operations, Size/Quote Alternatives with Vendors Secondary Project (1): Vibration Analysis Program - ITPM Clean Up, Route Optimization and Gap Identification, Wireless Strategy Development Secondary Project (2): Pump Repair Optimization - Continuation of Pump Training Program/Skid, Workflow Development with Maintenance, Pump Tracking Strategy for Offsite Repairs Project Objectives: Pump Audits - Reliability Improvements (~10% saving per pump), Bad Actor Alternative (individually quantified by payback), Vibration Analysis Program Optimization (man hour reduction and increased analysis/failure identification), Wireless Strategy (quantify payback/ROI), increase pump repair tracking improve MTTR and possible inventory reduction. Qualifications: Rising sophomore or higher pursuing Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or another relevant engineering discipline. This position will manage and grow revenue and profitability for assigned group of accounts and/or geography according to the strategy of the Coatings and Construction Team which are reflected in the individual MBOs. Prospect for new customers and new opportunities. Support commercialization of new product developments. Particular focus is on Coatings and Construction Chemicals. Key aspects are relationship management, prospecting, opportunity management, forecasting, communication skills, consultative selling, versatility and collecting/reporting market information. Job Responsibilities * Proactively identify, establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at all levels and document account interactions. Understand significant changes in customer demands * Grow and manage sales opportunities on a timely basis using the CRM system * Building technical knowledge of products and Industry needs. During your 12-hour shift as a Electrical and Instrumentation Technician, you will * Install, maintain, and replace automation systems. * Troubleshoot non-functioning components including servos, sensors, control components, PLCs, VFDs, MMI, Service Panels & MCCs, sensors/instruments, valves/motors. * Perform scheduled maintenance to ensure maximum functionality. * Build, configure, and deploy new software applications. * Create and maintain as-built documentation for new software deployment. * Monitor and manage on-premises and cloud infrastructure. * Integrate new and legacy applications. * Perform upgrades and other maintenance during non-business hours. * Perform break/fix activities on hardware and software. * Maintain a clean and organized work area, completing all necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner. If you... * Have a High School Diploma or GED and preferably have a Technical degree or certification. * Have 3 years' I/E industrial maintenance experience. * Possess related work experience reading loop sheets, electrical interconnect drawings, ladder logic drawings, equipment, and process instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and knowledge of prevailing electrical codes. * Are willing to work a 12 HR 2-2-3 shift schedule.
