MGX Field Crane Technicians are responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of various crane equipment including mobile cranes and boom trucks. This position will be located in the Savannah, GA or surrounding area, reporting to the Service Manager at the Aiken, SC branch for MGX Equipment Services. * Candidates hired for this role will receive a $4,500 sign-on bonus, payable after 90 days continuous service; and be eligible for our Tool Reimbursement Program of up to $1,500 per calendar year. Relocation assistance may also be available to those who qualify. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Diagnose, repair and troubleshoot various mobile hydraulic and lattice cranes. Capable of accomplishing tasks independently without direct supervision. Perform thorough and accurate annual inspections. Properly fills out working reports, hours reports, time sheets, hours overviews and expense reports. Provides excellent customer service. Other duties as assigned. JOB REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Crane Mechanic/Technician preferred. Experience working with different forms of mobile crane equipment, specifically Grove RT & TMS Cranes; Grove GMK European Cranes; Manitowoc EPIC and/or Traditional Cranes; National Boom Trucks preferred. Must be able to read both electrical and hydraulic schematics. Must be able to travel 50% of the time to job sites and for training as required.
