Essential Job Functions:
Adhere to all health and safety policies/procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and adhere to the required personal protective equipment (PPE) while in the warehouse or production areas (including but not limited to hairnets/beard nets, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard toe and slip/oil resistant shoes, appropriate safety gloves, and seatbelts while operating forklifts).
Responsible for adhering to food quality and food safety guidelines per Refresco, Customer and/or governing bodies (ex. SQF) standards.
Load and unload raw materials from incoming trucks and transport them to designated areas. Validate quantities by use of Blind Count Sheets or use of SAP transactions performed on forklift computer.
Ability to use SAP database through Vehicle Mounted Units (VMUs) installed on forklifts.
Load/unload trucks and perform all other warehouse functions within SAP using the forklift VMU.
Ability to operate powered industrial trucks (PIT's) in a high paced environment and be in-house forklift certified.
Supply raw materials to the production lines as required.
Perform pre-trip forklift inspections and adhere to forklift battery or propane tank changing operations and safety procedures.
Perform any other driving activities as directed by leadership.
Clean/maintain work areas throughout the shift.
Represents the company in a positive manner at all times.
May have production machine operation duties.
Required Skills:
Capability to read and write job instructions in the specified acceptable language(s) for the location.
Must be able to perform basic computer functions.
Must demonstrate the basic operation of powered industrial trucks.
Must be forklift certified by an approved Refresco trainer.

Work Environment: Operating in a fast-paced production plant with numerous moving parts. Noise level requires hearing protection and temperatures can get very hot / and or relatively cold. The environment is structured and supervised.

CLASS CHARACTERISTICS
An employee in this class, as a law enforcement officer, enforces city ordinances, state and federal laws. Performs those tasks and duties deemed necessary by the Chief of Police or his designee in accomplishing the police mission and achieving the goals of the Muskogee Police Department.
A Police Officer is a non-exempt, entry-level law enforcement officer in the Police Department.
GENERAL SUMMARY
The work of a commissioned Police Officer involves responsibility for the protection of life and property, prevention of crime, apprehension of criminals and the general enforcement of laws and ordinances. Law enforcement work does involve an element of personal danger. The Officer must be able to exercise sound independent judgment under stress. Work assignments may be general or specific and instructions are received from a supervisor who reviews work methods and results through reports, personal inspection and discussion.
WORK CHARACTERISTICS AND CONDITIONS
Scheduling:
Police Officer positions involve regular and irregular shift work and shift rotations necessary to provide police services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year. A shift is 12 hours.
Environmental Factors:
Police Officer positions involve exposure to and the ability to function in the presence of the following:
Inclement weather, to include extreme heat/cold, rain, snow, wind, etc.;
Light conditions associated with day, night and indoor/outdoor conditions;
Fire, smoke, chemical leaks/spills as close proximity as necessary to provide emergency services;
Personal danger, including, but not limited to:
Armed and/or dangerous persons/animals;
Persons and/or articles with contagious/communicable diseases;
Hazards associated with emergency driving, traffic control and working in and around traffic;

Infectious Diseases:
Because Police Officers may be called upon in adverse conditions to come into physical contact with others, the City will not knowingly expose citizens or other employees to an employee infected with a contagious disease that poses a direct threat to others. Decisions regarding infectious diseases will be based on reasonable medical judgments given the state of medical knowledge about:
The nature of the risk (how the disease is transmitted);
The duration of the risk (how long the carrier is infectious);

PHYSICAL ABILITIES
Motor Skills and Flexibility:
The Police Officer position requires the employee to have and maintain the physical and mental ability to:

Adequately judge distances and estimate speed;
See, read and recognize obstacles in a variety of normal and/or emergency environments. Have vision that is correctable to "department vision" standards;
Determine or estimate the point of origin of noise;
Recognize and relate sound to situations based on frequencies or voice inflection within the normal range of human hearing;
Employ the normal senses of touch and smell.
Communicative Skills:
The Police Officer position further requires the employee to have and maintain the physical and mental condition needed to:

ACCEPTABLE QUALIFICATIONS
In addition to each item listed above, the applicant must be a minimum of 21 years of age and no older than 45 years of age. The applicant must possess a high school diploma or GED.
The applicant must pass the Muskogee Police Department's written examination and physical agility examination and be able to pass the Oklahoma Police Pension and Retirement System's medical standards, pass all psychological examinations required by the Department and successfully complete state certification.
Internal candidates must receive at least an "average" on each rating on the internal evaluation form. If the internal candidate received a written reprimand their application will not be considered for six (6) months. If the internal candidate received a suspension or demotion their application will not be considered for twelve (12) months.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES
A Police Officer patrols the city in a police vehicle in order to enforce laws, prevent crime and preserve order; protect and rescue the public from criminal activity, hazards of traffic and dangers of natural phenomena; directs the flow of traffic, enforces traffic laws and regulations, investigates traffic accidents; accepts assignments in the patrol, investigative and services divisions as necessary; serves as a member of the Special Operations Team or Negotiations Team, K-9 Team, Mounted Patrol, undercover unit, investigative unit as assigned; works in uniform or plain clothes as designated; writes reports, makes arrests, transports prisoners and conducts investigations into criminal activity; utilizes a variety of Department forms and documents; serves warrants; testifies in court; may be responsible for training of new Police Officers and preparing evaluation reports; performs related duties as required. Assignments may include work on special tasks, which call upon specialized abilities and knowledge possessed by the Officer. Work assignments can be general or specific and instructions are received from a supervisor who reviews work methods and results through reports, personal inspection and discussion.

Summary Description:
Reporting to the Plant Director, the Continuous Improvement (CI) Manager is responsible for developing, coordinating, and sustaining CI initiatives within the manufacturing plant. Partnering with the Plant Leadership team, the CI Manager will drive the deployment of CI strategies across the facility. This role involves leading improvement projects, training and developing employees to lead similar initiatives, and fostering a Lean mindset throughout the plant. A strong Lean background is essential, as the CI Manager will spend significant time on the production floor, driving sustainable improvements and securing buy-in at all levels.
Essential Job Functions:

* Adhere to and ensure compliance to food quality and food safety as per the standard(s) provided by corporate, customer, and/or governing bodies (ex. SQF).
* Develop and support the execution of improvement plans aligned with company strategy by collaborating with the Plant Leadership Team and Sr. Regional OPEX Manager.
* Lead, facilitate, and coach Kaizen events to drive sustainable improvements in safety, first-pass quality, direct labor efficiency, yield, and indirect labor optimization.
* Mentor and train employees in CI tools, including the 8 Wastes, Standard Work, SMED, 5S, and Centerlining, to build a culture of continuous improvement.

* Facilitate regular planning meetings to validate cost savings, review project status, and develop contingency plans if initiatives are off track.

Job Description
PURPOSE OF THE CLASSIFICATION:
Responsible for the participation of and oversight of skilled maintenance and construction work involving water and sewer plants.
ESSENTIAL TASKS:
Oversees and participates in storm sewer draining system maintenance, repair and construction.
Finishes and rough concrete repair work in streets, sidewalks and driveways, including water and sewage cuts.
Maintains open drainage ditches and locates underground utilities for plumbers and other utility companies.
Inspects, maintains and programs systems related to the operation of residential and larger collection level sewage lift stations and related Scada/Plc communications.
Performs and directs special worksite and traffic setup; installs traffic signs, using truck, post-hole digger, pick and shovel.
Locates water lines for contractors and plumbers.
Oversees and participates in repacking, removing and repairing pumps; puts new bearings in electric motors and makes minor electrical repairs.
Inspects newly constructed utilities.
Operates or directs operations of light to medium construction equipment including backhoes, loaders, trenchers, line inspection camera truck, winch trucks, dump trucks, forklifts, flushing trucks, rodders, air compressors, portable pumps, generators, boring and pushing machines, pipe locators, and uses all types of hand tools and cutting and welding equipment.
Oversees maintenance and care of buildings and grounds as well as specialized equipment including equipment within the camera truck; supervises and participates in constructing flashers, barricades and traffic control equipment, template painting, remodeling, concrete block laying and carpentry.
Monitors and completes all related paperwork.
Performs other work as necessary and or as assigned.
Must report to work on a regular and timely basis.

The Water/Sewer Maintenance Leader I does or may oversees the work of the Equipment Operator I and II's as well as Water/Sewer Maintenance Worker II and Water/Sewer Maintenance Worker I.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Training and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent and three (3) years of experience as a trades helper or maintenance laborer in any of the construction and maintenance trades, preferably including some work experience involving the operation of light to medium construction equipment with at least one (1) year of the experience leading and coordinating or providing general crew oversight or supervision.
Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills: Considerable knowledge of manual labor work practices, methods, tools and materials of varied, semiskilled maintenance work; and considerable knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions of the work. Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions; ability to lead a group of workers performing manual labor for extended periods of time, in varying weather conditions; ability to use and instruct others in the use of mechanical tools and equipment; ability to operate and instruct others in the use of various types of automotive and power equipment; ability to read and interpret plans and specifications; ability to plan and oversee the work of semiskilled and skilled workers; and the ability to understand and influence the behavior of others within the organization, customers, or the public in order to achieve job objectives and cause action or understanding.

Under the direction of the Director of Business Affairs, and with the collaboration of an assigned supervisor, the Institutional Work Study (IWS) provides assistance in a number of job opportunities within the College of the Muscogee Nation.
To be selected and maintain employment as an IWS, students must comply with the following requirements per trimester: 1) Maintain 12 or more credit hours, 2) Maintain a 2.0 grade point average (the Peer Tutor position requires a 3.0), 3) Pass a drug screen and background check 4) Adhere to the CMN attendance policy, 5) Dress professionally, 6) Complete FERPA training and Sign the Confidentiality and FERPA agreement during orientation.
