Post Acute Care
The goal of the Post Acute Unit at Porter Medical Center - Helen Porter Rehabilitation & Nursing is to provide supportive, goal-directed care following surgery and/or hospitalization. Specially designed treatment programs provide patients with the preparation, support and education that enables them to return home as quickly as possible. Our goal is to help patients reach their highest possible level of independence. A partial list of conditions we work with includes strokes, neurological conditions, orthopedic care, respiratory conditions, and cardiac and post-trauma situations.
Routine Therapy services are provided Monday through Friday. We also have the capability of providing therapy six days a week if that is what is required to maximize positive results. · Attend pre-bid meetings, construction meetings, and pre-site visits as required.
· Conduct daily inspections of workers and evaluate their performance.
· Ensure a competent person is always on the job site.
· Attend training and offsite meetings as necessary.
· Manage material delivery status, order materials, and receive deliveries.
· Responsible for hiring and performance management of site employees.
Requirements:
· BS in Civil Engineering Construction Management and 5 years of experience or No Degree and 10 plus years of construction leadership experience
· Excellent time management and organizational skills.
· Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Project).
· Capability to review, understand, and interpret blueprints.
· Demonstrate general knowledge of heavy equipment operation, vertical construction, pipelaying, and concrete work.
· Physical capability to work in various positions, including sitting, standing, kneeling, squatting, walking, and driving.
· Ability to lift, carry, or move objects weighing 50 pounds or more.
Travel and Additional Requirements:
· Travel to Kingsbury job sites within the NY and New England region, with additional travel as necessary
· OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 required.
