Work Experience: The only work experience requirement is work that has been completed at the current point of the degree program enrolled. Responsibilities: The intern will report to the Director of Cybersecurity and will also work with the Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to perform daily duties related to monitoring and response of alerts received. Training will be provided on tools used and how to respond to tickets and clear them upon completion of work. Beyond responding to alerts, the intern will assist with reviewing cybersecurity assessments and assisting a new assessment and needed mitigation under the guidance of the Director of Cybersecurity and the Sr. Cybersecurity Analyst. Job Knowledge: The knowledge requirement for the intern program is what has been gained from the degree program enrolled up to the start of the internship. Essential Job Duties As the CALS Associate Dean for Research and Director of the North Carolina Agricultural Research Service (NCARS), the individual in this position is responsible for the leadership and administration of the research programs in CALS. NCARS manages over $122 million annually in contracts and grants from a comprehensive portfolio of state, federal, private, and endowment sources, making it a large and complex organization central to CALS's mission.
