Key Responsibilities

Assign loads based on driver availability, equipment type and customer requirements.
Monitor driver progress through dispatch systems, GPS, and regular communication.
Serve as the first point of contact for drivers and customers regarding scheduling and last-minute requests.
Ensure compliance with DOT hours-of-service, safety regulations, and company policies.
Coordinate with maintenance and operations teams regarding truck availability and repairs.
Maintain accurate records of dispatch activity, load details, and driver communications.
Deliver a high standard of customer service while representing Highways & Skyways with professionalism.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
3-5 years of dispatching, trucking, or logistics experience (local/regional preferred).
Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations.
Proficiency with McLeod TMS, GPS tracking systems, and Microsoft Office Suite is Required.
Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
Team player with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

The Telecommunicator will play a vital role in intake, triage and access to care for Cityblock's members across the country, 24/7.
