A Loan Associate is essentially a loan officer in training. Their primary job is to support loan officers with their daily tasks in order to facilitate smooth loan transactions. A loan assistant is responsible for processing loan applications in compliance with bank policies, meeting investor guidelines and demonstrating lending strategies. This individual also provides loan support functions to include documentation origination and evaluating loan servicing, authorization, and/or recommend the approval of commercial, credit, or real estate loans.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Meets with loan officers to determine what tasks need to be addressed.
• They can attend meetings between loan officers and customers where the loan officer is trying to determine customer needs and negotiate deals
• Contact and meet with customers to gather information, answer questions and update them on the loan status
• Manages the loan processes to include pre-processing steps (ordering title policies, EDR, surveys, etc.), processing steps (preparation of loan documents and closing coordination), and post-closing (monitoring and booking of the loan)
• Orders revision loan documents, appraisals, and environmental documents as determined
• Orders updated customer financial statements as needed
• Acts as liaison with various departments. Responsible for providing services to commercial customers including but not limited to answering questions, the processing of loans, payments, financial analysis, statements, etc.
• Reviews documentation for renewals and restructures as approved by management
• Assists with arranging renewal closings and restructure loans
• Effectively processes loan requests under supervision, by obtaining, verifying, completing, and maintaining the necessary loan documentation
• Conducts research and reviews liens, title searches, and title commitments and works with Loan Officer to clear all exceptions
• Processes and completes construction draw, payments, new loans, and renewals
• Reviews accepted collateral types for appropriate documentation
• Provides support in recording and filing pertinent collateral documents (i.e.. Deed of Trusts, UCCs, Fishing Vessel Mortgages)
• Provides support in maintaining loan files and following up with annual reviews and financial tracking
• Assists other lenders and employees as needed
• Answers incoming calls, assists loan customers with questions both in person and on the phone
• Presents credits to Loan Committee for approval
• Attends meetings with customers as well as meetings for their department, branch and the entire bank. Attends other meetings as assigned
• Assures customer service is a top priority whether internally or externally, treating customers and employees professionally, with courtesy, and respect
• Actively sells and promotes the company's full line of services and products
• Reviews credit memos and loan files to ensure they have all the pertinent information necessary to create loan documents
• Assists Loan Servicing in ensuring all disclosures are completely error-free
• Assists Loan Servicing in creating and proofing loan documents for consumer and commercial loans

• Provides support in booking loans and collateral information into the internal banking system
• Stays current on loan policies and procedures for the bank and at the regulatory level

• Generates leads through well-established relationships with professional advisors and continues to cultivate a network of additional professional advisors

DUTIES:
Assist in the development and implementation of a comprehensive produce distribution plan for the Siletz Clinic Farm including harvest, wash, pack, storage, and distribution.
Make regular inspections to ensure that all produce and food is being properly handled, stored, and meets safety standards for human consumption.
Maintain and implement the program's CSA model of produce distribution known as the Food Sovereignty Box Program.
Coordinate and assist in all harvesting, gleaning, washing, packing, storing, processing, distribution, and other tasks associated with fresh produce.

Prepare and periodically update protocol manuals for produce handling practices, distribution strategies, and food preservation techniques.

Key Responsibilities
20% - Landscaping: Design and develop new garden areas around campus buildings to enhance aesthetics and provide wildlife habitat. Maintain existing landscapes to ensure ongoing quality and appeal.
20% - Grounds Maintenance: Responsible for cleaning up trash and debris, performing weeding, thinning trees and shrubs, and hauling debris to off-site recycling or disposal locations using a university-owned pickup (requires a current, valid driver's license).

OMSI Camp Counselors are a passionate team of mentors and youth leaders committed to providing transformative overnight summer camp experiences. Counselors are in charge of small groups of campers in cabins at either the Coastal Discovery Center at Camp Gray (in Newport, Oregon) or at Hancock Field Station (near Fossil, Oregon).
In addition to supervising campers in nearly every activity and aspect of camp, this position also takes on support roles like camp assistant in the dining hall, light cleaning, bus or van monitoring, and assisting team members with activities and lessons. Work schedule depends on programming needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for the health and safety of campers (ages 6-17), staying with and monitoring them overnight in cabins/tents, and at tables during meals;
Acts as a positive role model for students and staff at all times, and actively integrates diversity, equity, access and inclusion in all areas.
Ensures that students are prepared for activities and keeping groups on schedule;
Responsible for monitoring and engaging with campers during bus and van rides, recreation, free time, cabin time, and during transitions between activities;

Lifeguard Duties (if certified):
Provides lifeguard supervision of camp guests during swimming/aquatic activities;

We are proud that our Assistant General Managers make a national average annual salary of $43,000 to $67,000, combining a base hourly rate of $17.05 plus uncapped commission.

As a Retail Department Lead, you will
Ensure proper inventory levels, based on store capacity, promotions, customer requests, and seasonal merchandise, in all assigned areas to maximize sales. Complete all daily orders
Maximize departmental sales by driving and maintaining superior customer service, freshness, and stocks. Ensure a daily date check is executed. Train, motivate, and develop staff to execute the same standards.
Ensure appealing presentation and pricing standards are maintained in assigned areas. Utilize the computer as needed.
Stock shelves set up displays, ring up merchandise and sales, and perform cleaning duties as needed
Open and close the
CHEF'STORE
in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager. Perform Manager on Duty functions as needed.
Role model and promote our cultural beliefs
Ensure that the facility is well maintained and is a safe environment for staff and customers by always following safety policies and practices. Correct safety issues and then notify the store management of any safety issues that exist in the store, correct if possible.
Responsible for other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required by Store Management.

External: The incumbent is required to interact with all customers and service providers.
SUPERVISION

QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Training:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Related Experience:
Three (3) years experience in a retail setting, restaurant, or customer service environment. Supervisory or Lead experience preferred.

Job Summary
This recruitment will be used to fill future part-time, hourly, intermittent (as needed) Boat Operator: Small Boat Operator (Intermittent) positions in the Marine Operations unit within the Division of Research and Innovation at Oregon State University.
These positions will be located in Newport, Oregon.
Under the direction of the Boating Safety Officer ( BSO ), the Small Boat Operations Boat Operatorperforms a wide variety of routine and semiskilled tasks to support Oregon State University's marine research activities. This position works as part of the Small Boat Program ( SBP ) within the Office of Marine Operations ( OMO ) and provides essential field-based services including vessel operation, launching and retrieval, trailering, general boat and equipment maintenance, and logistical support for small boat operations.
This position plays a key support role in the delivery of marine and freshwater fieldwork, ensuring that university vessels and associated gear are operated safely, maintained effectively, and made ready for research and instructional use by students, faculty, and research collaborators.

Key Responsibilities
Vessel Operations and Field Support - 70%
+ Operates small research vessels (motorized and non-motorized) in marine and freshwater environments.
+ Trailers, launches, and recovers vessels using full-size trucks and other towing equipment.
+ Assists with on-deck operations including gear deployment, line handling, and routine tasks required to support research missions.
+ Makes basic safety and operational assessments based on environmental conditions and equipment readiness
+ Assists in launching, securing, and mooring vessels before and after use.
Equipment and Vessel Maintenance - 20%
+ Performs basic maintenance and cleaning of small boats, motors (inboard/outboard), and trailers.
+ Conducts inspections and simple repairs using hand tools and power tools.
+ Fuels vessels, checks fluids, and monitors engine condition.
+ Keeps records of fuel usage, inspections, and minor repairs.
+ Stores, organizes, and inventories boating equipment and supplies.
General Support and Recordkeeping - 10%
+ Assists in setup and breakdown for trainings, field deployments, and safety drills.
+ Loads and unloads gear and supplies for field operations.
+ Maintains basic logs related to operations, maintenance, and usage.
+ May help guide or coordinate the work of student employees or volunteers on-site.
+ Communicates with staff, researchers, and students to support day-to-day needs of the Small Boat Program.
What We Require
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
High School Diploma and 2 years of vessel operations experience in assigned area of responsibility; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
LICENSING / CERTIFICATIONS :
- Boater Education Card issued by the State of Oregonor equivalent;
- Successfully complete First Aid and CPR Training;
- Successfully complete an internal evaluation of related skills provided by a designated member of OSU's Ship Operations staff;
- Ability to speak, read and write English;
- Basic computer skills including use of e-mail, web browsers, word processing.
