Job Description
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
* Complete assembly of partially built heavy equipment using hand, electric, and air-powered tools
* Unpackage, install, and remove machine parts
* Drive and operate equipment including backing up, tilting or raising or lowering attachments or other machine movements to facilitate proper assembly
* Be able to work outside in all reasonable weather condition
* Read and interpret machine manuals and schematics for assembly purposes
* Adhere to OSHA standards and company safety regulations

Summary
The Lead Van Driver position is responsible for ensuring that units are moved from point "A" to point "B" in a safe and timely manner, while following all company policies and procedures. In addition, this position is responsible for effectively leading team members in order to achieve daily goals.
Responsibilities
Move vehicles to their proper location in a safe and efficient manner
Effectively lead team members on bus, providing direction and assistance, in order to meet daily goals

Summary
The PIO Installer drives vehicles from the staging area into the Production Shop and performs accessory installations, cleans each work area at the end of each shift. Installations are in a production-based atmosphere with specific production goals set.
Responsibilities
Prepare vehicle for installation by pulling proper accessory part
Obtain and sign for appropriate materials sheets
Prepare accessory kits for installation
Install accessories according to manufacturer's instructions
Notify Quality Control Inspector once installation is complete
Correct any deficiencies noted by Quality Control before the vehicle is returned to staging area
Complete a defect tag if parts are defective and submit to Supervisor, for which part may be considered a warranty claim
Maintain a clean and hazard free work environment
Meet monthly installation production goals
Follow all policies and procedures regarding safety
Assist fellow team members to make sure quality is maintained, and installations are completed in a timely manner

Summary

Summary
The Release Scanner (2nd Shift) position will be responsible for performing release scanner duties as assigned, by walking from vehicle to vehicle scanning vehicle bar codes, verifying VIN numbers, port installed options, and throw-ins. Once proper verification and vehicle handling procedures have been met, this position will release the vehicles for shipment.
Responsibilities
Use PDA to scan, verify, and release vehicles for shipment
Use portable scanners to update location of vehicles after they have been processed
Scan vehicles to verify Monroney sticker against the VIN plate
Inspect vehicles to check for installs, and confirm they are present and closed out
Ensure all units are staged correctly and are dealer-ready prior to release for shipment
Use portable scanners to release each vehicle for shipment in the appropriate locations
Secondary
Meet production needs in a high paced environment
Walk long periods of time in various weather conditions in order to meet/exceed daily goals for released vehicles
Have a good understanding of daily tasks, and perform them in a safe and efficient manner with minimal errors
Notify supervisor if assigned area needs assistance
Ensure proper vehicle handling procedures
Check all vehicles prior to releasing or updating locations, to ensure the vehicles are properly parked according to GLOVIS vehicle handling guidelines

Summary
The Senior Analyst - Production Procurement position is a support in the logistics procurement of goods and services in the US East Coast subsidiaries in Alabama & Georgia, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition and maintaining the highest quality standards. The Senior Analyst will contribute in the procurement of logistic products and services using the subsidiary's combined purchasing power to apply economies of scale, improving supplier management, cross-functional collaboration, cost savings, and continuous improvements.
Responsibilities
Overall Procurement Activities
Contributing to the establishment of a comprehensive procurement strategy for the East Coast subsidiaries, including automotive parts transportation, C/C, shuttle transportation, etc.
Assisting in the creation of standard transportation costs for production logistics through detailed analysis
Supporting the development and implementation of procurement processes for automotive parts transportation, warehousing, outsourcing consolidation center, shuttle transportation, material handling, and logistics-related equipment, labor, etc., by providing in-depth data analysis and insights
Managing and analyzing the potential automotive logistics vendor pool and standardizing processes across all subsidiaries
Supporting overall RFX processes, cost management, contract management, vendor management, and evaluation with comprehensive data analysis and reporting
Assisting in supporting sales activities of each subsidiary by analyzing and obtaining quotations from vendors
Collaborating with management to address the unique and specific procurement requirements of subsidiary logistics through detailed analytical support
Assisting in the establishment of a standard cost management system for each subsidiary and securing unit price competitiveness through rigorous cost analysis
Aiding with GPMS in East Coast procurement activities (GPMS: Glovis Procurement Management System) Procurement Status Management
Procurement Status Management
Compiling and aggregating logistics service contract schedules of each East Coast subsidiary for detailed analysis and reporting
Regularly analyzing inbound/outbound trucking contract AP costs of each subsidiary to ensure accuracy and cost-effectiveness
Reporting the procurement status of each subsidiary to the manager with comprehensive data analysis and insights
Collaborating in the reporting of market and supplier research results to the manager, providing detailed analysis and actionable recommendations
Technical support for procurement plans and conducting spend analysis for each subsidiary to support strategic decision-making and optimize procurement processes
Assist the manager in:
Market Analysis: Research and analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry best practices to inform procurement decisions
Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures governing procurement activities
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Generate reports and analyze procurement data to provide insights, monitor performance, and support decision-making
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including operations, finance, legal, and other teams
Compensation Range
$54,000 - $59,000 per year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)

Skills:
Knowledge of the United States logistics and transportation industry preferred
Proved experience with planning and strategy in a large international corporation preferred
