About the Role:
The Sr. Field Mechanic with MYR Group you'll travel to project sites across the designated service area, supporting our field teams. You'll use your skills to perform maintenance, preventive maintenance, and minor equipment repairs safely and professionally. Like every team member, we will rely on you to provide exceptional customer service to internal customers.
Location Details:This position will ideally be located in Troutdale, OR.
Travel Details: This position requires travel throughout Northern California, Oregon, and Washington states, (including overnight) to project locations, supporting teams to ensure successful operation of the equipment. At times, the Mechanic will be required to respond to emergencies outside regular work hours and work overtime including weekends and holidays. A company vehicle and fuel card will be provided. When travel is required, meals and lodging will also be provided.

Essential Functions
This is considered an advance-level skilled or career level position
Perform mechanic assignments using independent judgment to make decisions requiring the application of procedures and practices to specific work situations
Perform a full range of servicing and repairs on various types of fleet equipment, including malfunctioning parts and systems. Ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines and company schedules
Frequently travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance of equipment. Must maintain service vehicle in a clean and professional manner
May provide oversight for less experienced mechanics
Perform routine and preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs
Identify mechanical problems either visually or with computer diagnostic equipment
Maintain records of time and materials used on each job, the condition of the equipment, and the repairs performed
Track information in computer software; ensure repair orders and weekly timesheets are complete and accurate
Conduct safety inspections of equipment and prepare safety documentation
Work in accordance with DOT, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Interstate Authority, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and other rules and regulations as required
Participate in training programs; maintain and update safety skills and knowledge; keep current with hazardous material training requirements

About You:
Qualifications
Must have five years of experience in general heavy truck repair, automotive repair, or equipment repair; equivalent trade school/technical school time may be applied toward this requirement OR have completed a vocational/technical school program or apprenticeship in vehicle and equipment repair and have four years of experience.
Must be capable of operating company vehicles and equipment on a daily basis. Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and good DAC Report.
A valid Class B Commercial Driver License (CDL) is desired but not required.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Key job responsibilities
The Commissioning Engineer (CxE) provides testing and validation oversight of AWS data center electrical and mechanical infrastructure. CxEs review design documents, lead Factory Witness Testing (FWT), and manage third-party commissioning vendors in the performance of onsite pre-functional, functional, and integrated systems testing. They take Ownership of their projects' successes by Diving Deep to resolve technical issues and having Bias for Action to address everchanging schedule and coordination demands onsite. Additionally, CxEs communicate lessons learned and continuously collaborate on program improvements.
The CxE shall provide multi-discipline input into the scheduling, test script development, designing, and planning of projects. In addition, the CxE will be required to review component submittal packages, lead Factory Witness Testing (FWT), perform system level and integrated system testing. During commissioning the CxE will continuously audit activities to ensure compliance with environmental, quality, and safety requirements. Additionally, the individual will be responsible for comprehensive weekly reporting of status of all ongoing projects and lessons learned to continually improve the quality of our program. This position will include coverage of multiple inflight projects and tight timelines.
A day in the life
On a typical project, the CxE works across AWS engineering, capacity delivery, operations, and contractor teams to coordinate site activities, prioritize tasks, and ensure each issue has clear path to resolution. The CxE manages the project commissioning vendor whose primary scope is to identify issues, determine criticality, propose solutions, and document their findings. If project turnover is at risk, the CxE escalates to the appropriate stakeholders. Upon project completion, the CxE will communicate lessons learned to help peers on similar projects in flight and participate in initiatives that drive improvement to the commissioning program.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 5+ years of engineering, installation, or startup/commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or 5 years of relevant discipline work experience
- High technical competency in either mechanical or electrical or control systems utilized in critical infrastructures, with the capability to learn and be trained in the others.

The Service Desk (Tier II) Deskside Support Contractor will provide advanced technical support to troubleshoot, repair, deploy, maintain/ update/ patch and install customer computing devices, peripherals, software, and associated IT assets at on-site locations. This role requires hands-on expertise in hardware and software maintenance, strong customer service skills, and the ability to support both routine and specialized IT needs. The contractor will ensure reliable IT operations for SC employees, including executive staff, across on-site and occasional off-site environments.
Deliver deskside (Tier II) support for troubleshooting, repair, deployment, and installation of computing devices, peripherals, software, and IT assets.
Respond to assigned incidents and service requests tickets according to assigned criticality and established SLAs.
Perform routine device and software maintenance, including proactive updates, patches, diagnostics, and optimization to minimize downtime.
Manage and maintain a loaner pool of mobile devices and peripherals (laptops, smartphones, tablets, projectors, etc.) for short-term employee use.
Prepare obsolete computers, peripherals, and software for excess, ensuring secure data removal from hard drives in compliance with DOE, NIST, and OIM guidance/orders.
Ensure availability, functionality, and proper tracking of IT assets, supporting readiness for new device types and technologies.
Provide IT equipment setup and services for SC meetings, ensuring operational readiness; support may be required off-site.
Install, operate, and maintain videoconference systems; deliver customer training and instructional documentation for system use.
Provide executive staff off-site support (approximately once or twice per year) to ensure access to SC Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and automated services.
Support existing and emerging technologies, including Apple devices (iPhones, iPads, desktops, laptops) and other standard/future product suites.
Assist users with VPN and virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) troubleshooting, leveraging secure remote access tools.
Maintain proficiency through ongoing certifications and training to align with technological advancements and regulatory changes.
Adapt to evolving technologies, platforms, and organizational priorities to ensure continued alignment with SC needs.
Maintain approved ticketing and tracking system to log, monitor, and document all user interactions, resolutions, escalations, and follow-ups.
Demonstrate analytical thinking in performing root cause analysis by efficiently diagnosing and resolving technical issues. Document any lessons learned in tickets and knowledge base to enable earlier incident resolution by tier 1 support.

The ProSidian Engagement Team Members work to provide General Support Services Contractor (GSSC) assistance to support DOE Hanford [which consists of Richland Operations Office (RL), and Office of River Protection (ORP)] in support of the Govt's operations, personnel management, and general administration of regional operations at the Hanford Site in Richland, Washington.
EEOICPA OP AB Support Candidates shall work to support requirements as a EEOICPA Claims Processing and Verification Specialist and support to the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program (EEOICPA) Program Mgr. across the U.S. Dept. of Energy (DOE), Richland Operations Office (RL), Assistant Mgr. for Mission Support (AMMS), Site Stewardship Division (SSD). EEOICPA Claims Processing and Verification Specialist shall provide staff to effectively support the EEOICPA Program Mgr. in all phases of program implementation, including but not limited to managing all incoming and outgoing EEOICPA claims, preparing verifications of employment, and providing support for data capture requests from the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), Dept. of Labor (DOL) and other involved parties.
DELIVERABLES

CLAIMS PROCESSING
Provide support on the day-to-day administration, management and tracking of all aspects of the EEOICPA claim process applicable to the Hanford and PNNL facilities and Hanford and PNNL employees.
Process all requests in a timely manner, as is within their scope of work and control.
Prepare reports, correspondence, copying, computer input, documentation as requested.
Communicate effectively with all Federal and contractor staff, as well as with all claimants that are in contact with the office.
Keep DOE-RL Program Mgr. informed of work progress, new issues, concerns, or other items as appropriate.
Shipments and electronic downloads/uploads of claim related information shall be in accordance with the DOE-RL EEOICPA Program Mgr. ' s and DOE-HQ direction, policies and procedures
Provide routine monthly status reports and other reports as requested by the DOE-RL Program Mgr. . .
Conduct research to respond to inquiries from DOL and NIOSH relating to Hanford past practices or history to support claim development. These requests for research will be sporadic but require some specialized knowledge of Hanford's past contractor history.
Compile finding aids, as available, that document unusual sources of employment information, including historical lists of Hanford's contractors. Manage that information collection in a secure and appropriate manner.
VERIFICATION OF EMPLOYMENT SUPPORT
Provide verification of employment reports on employees for former contractors, based on review and analysis of personnel records available. These verifications should include a narrative of the job title and work location, as well completion of the EE-5 forms required by Dept. of Labor.
TECHNICIAN SUPPORT
Assist in logging documents/boxes into an established tracking system.
Move records boxes from one location in a work area to another to ensure the boxes are accurately staged for various work processes.
The ProSidian Engagement Team employee will scan personnel, medical or claim records from paper and electronic format and merge and consolidate the scanned files e-claim files.
The .contractor employee will provide typing, scanning, or records management support to EEOICPA claim and other EEOICPA related functions.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS
Depending on specific task assignments, certain permanent employees must have the ability to obtain a “Q” Clearance.

Performance Incentives: Due to the nature of our consulting engagements there are performance incentives associated with each new client that each employee works to pursue and support.
Flexible Spending Account: FSAs help you pay for eligible out-of-pocket health care and dependent day care expenses on a pre-tax basis. You determine your projected expenses for the Plan Year and then elect to set aside a portion of each paycheck into your FSA.
