This position is for a Hardscape Foreman working in PLYMOUTH, MA. The Hardscape Foreman is responsible for leading and executing high-quality hardscape installations on residential and commercial properties. This role involves hands-on supervision of daily field operations, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to specification. The Foreman serves as the on-site leader, working closely with crew members, project managers, and clients to deliver exceptional results. The position requires strong leadership, technical expertise in hardscaping, and a commitment to upholding quality and safety standards. Hardscape installation experience required in the landscape industry.

OBJECTIVES
Execute and manage hardscape installations, including patios, retaining walls, walkways, outdoor living spaces, and driveways.
Ensure all hardscape work is completed on time and in line with project plans and design specifications.
Supervise and support crew members daily, promoting productivity, safety, and skill development.
Maintain high standards of craftsmanship and attention to detail throughout all phases of the installation process.
Coordinate with project managers and clients to ensure expectations are met and communicated effectively.
Monitor and manage material use, minimizing waste and ensuring adequate inventory on site.
Operate and oversee the safe use of machinery and specialized tools related to hardscaping.
Identify and resolve issues proactively to prevent project delays or budget overruns.
Enforce site safety protocols and compliance with company standards and OSHA regulations.
Keep accurate daily records of labor, material usage, equipment operation, and job progress.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Proven experience as a hardscape foreman, lead installer, or similar field leadership role in the landscape industry.
Strong knowledge of hardscape construction practices, materials, and equipment.
Prior experience leading and managing installation crews.
Excellent organizational and field management skills.
Proficiency in reading blueprints and executing plans to spec.
Valid drivers license and ability to travel to job sites.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to walk, stand, and work on uneven terrain for extended periods.
Capable of lifting and carrying materials or equipment weighing up to 75 pounds.
Frequent bending, kneeling, and crouching while performing hardscape work.
Strong hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity to operate tools and machinery.

Layout
Participation in quality control for all scopes of work - self performed as well as subcontracted
Assisting in creating site documentation and as-built drawings
Serve as first point of contact for subcontractor questions
Collaborate with subcontractors to find solutions; come to superintendent with possible solutions to problems, be willing to come to the table prepared and engaged in the process
Estimating materials and time to perform work proposed
Being able to run small projects as a working lead; coordinate crew to maximize productivity
Working with the superintendent to create daily schedule and take responsibility for its execution
Being the company representative when the superintendent is unavailable
Opening and closing the job site as requested
Discussing work with clients, architects, partners and inspectors with diplomacy, clarity, and patience as necessary

About this Role
Oregon Aerial Construction (OAC) is looking for an Aerial Foreman for our Portland, OR location.
The Aerial Foreman is an independent, skilled position in all phases of telecom aerial construction and repair. The position entails using problem-solving skills and creating job estimations. Job management, pole climbing, loading and unloading equipment and materials are all part of the daily workload. The Foreman will also be responsible for training ground hands on proper procedures and will oversee the job site.

What You'll Do
Responsibilities:
Read blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the repair or pole transfer.
Cut, assemble and install cables, lashing, mounts, arms, bonds and guy wires.
Install and maintain fiber, cable and phone equipment.
Locate and repair issues quickly.
Place, transfer and remove poles.
Perform all City and D.O.T. requirements: Pre-trip, Vehicle condition report, etc.
Pre-trip: Check vehicles before operating for proper functioning of equipment and safety devices.
Vehicle condition report: Accurately documenting the condition of vehicle.
Responsible for cleaning and maintaining assigned vehicles up to standards of appropriate levels of cleanliness.
Utilize tablets to complete proper ticket paperwork for billing and invoice purposes.
Load materials in truck as required.
Perform related work as required.
What You'll Bring
Qualifications:
Possess a valid CDL driver's license with a good driving record.
High School Diploma from accredited school or its equivalent.
Two (2) years of experience in aerial construction or telecom trade.
May be required to work long, or alternate hours, as necessary for the efficient operation of the business.Skill in the operation of assigned equipment.
Ability to apply preventative maintenance and service to motor vehicles and motorized equipment and to make minor adjustments to correct performance malfunctions in the field.
Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.

Previous construction experience, preferably in the telecommunication industry.

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time hourly position, expected to work at least 40 hours per week. This position operates in an outdoor environment and is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions including; extreme cold, rain, sleet, snow, humidity, high temperatures, and high wind. The outside work environment will vary throughout the day including changes in terrain, traffic, urban settings, and/or rural settings. This position may occasionally be exposed to natural gas and to the risk of electrical shock. Exposure to moderate to loud noise levels.
Physical Requirements:
Tasks involve the intermittent performance of physically demanding work, typically involving some combination of reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, or crouching, and that may involve the lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling of moderately heavy objects and materials (20-75 pounds). Intermittent lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling of heavier objects (100+ pounds) and getting in and out of a truck several times a day.
Ability to stand for long periods of time (up to 12 hours at a time), tolerate work in extreme weather conditions, speak and hear worksite safety instructions, withstand prolonged and repeated: lifting, standing, climbing, kneeling, reaching and feeling, crouching, and crawling. Summary:
Supervises a crew of Tele-Inspection Operators and OMC Laborers conducting internal pipeline inspections.
Posting Period: 12/9/2025 to 1/5/2026
Location: Chelsea, MA
Salary: $69,315.32 - $99,195.41 annually $1,332.99 - $1,907.60 weekly
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm
Key Responsibilities
* Supervises all aspects of internal pipeline inspections.
* Operates all equipment and software associated with internal pipeline inspections.
* Prepares necessary inspection DVDs and field reports resulting from internal pipeline inspection assignments.
* Maintains all applicable internal pipeline inspection equipment, vehicles, radios and safety equipment necessary to complete inspection projects.
* Provides training for new employees in all aspects of internal pipeline inspections and related safety equipment and procedures.
* Organizes and delegates work assignments for work crews.
* Performs related duties as required.
Required Qualifications
* A high school diploma or GED; and
* Understanding of principles and practices of internal pipeline inspections as acquired through at least three (3) years of directly related experience;
* including at least one (1) year in a supervisory capacity. Successful completion of the MWRA sponsored supervisory training program and receipt of the training certificate may be substituted for supervisory experience; and
* Understanding of basic mechanical and electronic concepts associated with inspection equipment as acquired through at least one (1) year experience; or
* Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
* Must possess a valid Motor Vehicle Class D Operators license.
* The ability to get certifications from the following programs within 12 months after hire and renew every three years:
* NASSCO Pipeline Assessment Certification Program (PACP)
* NASSCO Manhole Assessment Certification Program (MACP)
* NASSCO Lateral Assessment Certification Program (LACP)
* This position has been designated as essential in instances where the MWRA Executive Director requires essential personnel to report to work such as inclement weather or other emergencies.
Knowledge and Abilities
* Ability to properly and safely operate internal pipelines inspection equipment.
* The ability to plan, organize, direct and assign duties to subordinates.
* Ability to read and interpret record plans, drawings and blueprints.
* Knowledge of basic mathematics and sewer line construction.
* Understanding of applicable safety principles and practices.
* Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills required.
Tools and Equipment Used
Office equipment as normally associated with the use of telephone, personal computers including word processing and other software, copy and fax machines. Also, the following Cues, Inc., TV Inspection Equipment: OZ111Camera, Sonar Camera, Steerable Pipe Ranger, Portable Camera Push System and Manhole Pole Camera.
