About this Role
IMMEDIATE NEED - HIRING NOW - MAJOR PROJECTS DIVISION
TRAVEL POSITION - Robinson Brothers Construction, LLC is seeking skilled Telecom/Underground Utilities Laborer to join our traveling crew. Our contracts span the Pacific Northwest and the West Coast, encompassing the western states.
We are looking for talented individuals who are enthusiastic and ready to travel to various job sites. As part of your role, travel is expected and required.
This is a field position, and you will be responsible for working at various sites as necessary, including locations in multiple states.
**Travel position - We prioritize local assignments that enable our team to return home each night, while remaining flexible and ready to pursue opportunities wherever the job market takes us.
What You'll Do
The Construction Laborer will support all phases of utility construction for various types of telecom projects. Duties will include but not limited to general labor duties related to telecommunications construction as directed by the Forman or Supervisor.
Services may include placing poles, anchors and guys, aerial strand and cable, direct buried pipe, trenching cable, conventional and directional boring, placing underground conduit systems, performing inside wiring, cabling, and testing and maintenance services.
Daily Responsibilities:
All phases of telecommunication construction include but are not limited to: Loading, driving, delivery, digging, removal and placement of various types, sizes and weight of construction materials and equipment.
Hand dig using shovel, mechanical tools.
Install and maintenance of underground telecommunications cabling.
Operate or work around heavy equipment and machinery.
Working in congested or remote areas.
Maintain visual and audible contact with other crewman and all moving or stationary persons/vehicles/objects to ensure safe coordination of movement.
Perform general construction work under direction of Foreman/Supervisor.
Maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all regulations, procedures, and policies.
Learn all aspects of crew and assist the operator and foreman as assigned.
Setup, preparation, and cleanup of construction sites.
Develop an understanding of buried utilities.
Lift heavy equipment and supplies

Qualifications:
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and Motor Vehicle Report.
Possess a valid driver's license or be eligible and willing to obtain the required license for the position.

Successful completion of Quanta/RBC Safety compliance training and onboarding

Work Environment:
This is a full-time hourly position, expected to work at least 40 hours per week. The outside work environment will vary throughout the day including changes in terrain, traffic, urban settings, and/or rural settings. This position may occasionally be exposed to natural gas and to the risk of electrical shock. Exposure to moderate to loud noise levels.
Physical Requirements:
The employee will need to have the ability to stand for long periods of time (up to 12 hours at a time), tolerate work in extreme weather conditions, speak and hear worksite safety instructions, withstand prolonged and repeated: lifting, standing, climbing, kneeling, reaching and feeling, crouching, and crawling. The employee will need to be able to regularly lift 50 pounds. Position Description
In this position, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to safely and efficiently load and unload Mutual Materials products. This includes loading company trucks as well as customer vehicles.
As this is a customer-facing role, providing exceptional service is essential to maintaining and promoting positive customer relationships.
While forklift operation will be your primary duty, you may also be required to hand-load customer vehicles as needed. Additional responsibilities include maintaining the yard, managing inventory, breaking down pallets, and handling shipping and receiving documentation.

Position Description
In this position, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to safely and efficiently load and unload Mutual Materials products. This includes loading company trucks as well as customer vehicles.
As this is a customer-facing role, providing exceptional service is essential to maintaining and promoting positive customer relationships.
While forklift operation will be your primary duty, you may also be required to hand-load customer vehicles as needed. Additional responsibilities include maintaining the yard, managing inventory, breaking down pallets, and handling shipping and receiving documentation.
This position requires outdoor work and is subject to all weather conditions.
On the job training will be provided to all New Hires by experienced Mutual Materials employees. This is a full-time job, Monday-Friday 7am to 4pm.
Qualifications
Similar/related work experience in the building materials industry is preferred.
The qualified candidate will have great customer service skills and a positive attitude.
Ability to work both independently and as a member of a fast-paced distribution team.
Physical capacity to lift 70+ pounds on an occasional basis; able to be on your feet for most of the day; bending, twisting, and lifting are essential for this position.
OSHA certified forklift certification/ experience is preferred.
Previous experience with masonry products, stone and/or construction practices a plus.
Must be able to work 40 hours per week

Depending on the product lines assigned to the region, the Yard Worker is responsible for maintaining fence, sanitation, and storage equipment in clean and operational condition. They ensure that all equipment leaving the yard meets the quality standards of National Construction Rentals, Inc. Additionally, the Yard Worker assists in the loading and unloading of materials from NCR vehicles.
Essential Functions:
Clean, repair, and ensure proper rolling and stacking of fence materials in the yard.
Maintain cleanliness, conduct repairs, and apply paint to fence, sanitation, and storage equipment.
Assist in the loading, unloading, and servicing of vehicles used for fence, sanitation, and storage operations.
Operate steam cleaners, forklifts, and air tools proficiently and safely.
Immediately report any accidents or incidents according to company procedures.
Maintain and update inventory logs on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis as required.
Document all maintenance and repair work completed daily.
Empty and clean portable toilets in preparation for delivery.
Ensure a safe and tidy work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.

Task-oriented with proficiency in following detailed instructions.
Must have a valid driver's license with a Motor Vehicle Record within company guidelines. Because this position may be required to drive a company vehicle, incumbent must be at least 21 years old and possess a forklift certification.
