Walter P Moore has an immediate opening for a mid-level Structural Engineer to join their dynamic Secure Design team as a Project Manager. The qualified candidate will have between 5 and 12 years of relevant experience working on design of office buildings, healthcare facilities, sports venues and other large commercial structures with construction costs of $25 million and up.
The qualified candidate should possess a high energy level and be a self-motivated professional who can work within a strong team environment, serving clients on major projects throughout the United States and internationally. Technical specialization, proactivity and aggressiveness when meeting client and project needs, are pluses.
Clients will include architects, developers, institutions, and contractors. In addition to all the skills listed above, the qualified candidate should possess a strong “can-do” customer service attitude.
Qualifications
9-15 years of experience in relevant commercial building design
Demonstrated career growth that includes experience working on design teams for a variety of building types, Port Authority and High Rise experience a plus
Master's in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural
P.E. license is REQUIRED

Assists corporate marketing with major activities (awards, press releases, publications, etc.) related to the region
Coordinate client meetings and business activities with staff
Focuses staff's attention on top clients and project pursuits

Qualifications
10+ Years experience leading business development efforts for professional services organizations. Architectural, Engineering and Construction (AEC) experience preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or related field required
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and power user level expertise in using resource planning, CRM and financial software

Responsibilities
In this position the qualified individual will work with a team of engineers to provide engineering services on diagnostics related projects, including forensics, restoration, renovation and rehabilitation of commercial structures and complexes such as arenas, stadiums, convention centers, office and industrial facilities, condominiums, hospital complexes, and parking garages. Sound technical background and excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
Qualified candidates will work on projects within our four areas of practice; Building Enclosure, Forensic Analysis, Parking Restoration, and Restoration/Renovation.
Qualifications

Job Summary
The Urbanism + Planning group of AECOM is actively seeking a creative and enthusiastic Urban Planner III for employment in the Washington, DC office. The planner will serve on multi-disciplinary planning efforts in the DC region's most treasured places, from national parks to neighborhoods. Portfolios should be one PDF attachment, 10-20 pages, maximum 5 MB. Submit portfolios as part of your application in the section where the application asks you for your Resume or CV.
