We have an immediate opening for a self-motivated team player with the experience and skills to lead marketing coordination and management for the fast-paced group of consulting engineers in our Houston Structures Group. In addition to the qualifications listed below, this individual will possess a strong “can-do” service attitude.
In this position, the qualified individual will require an intentional focus on:
Use of Adobe InDesign to develop and coordinate materials for proposals, qualifications packages, and brochures, including subconsultant materials
Occasional design of custom graphics for proposal, qualification packages, presentations, leave-behind collateral, and advertisements which complement standard template and brand standards
Research and technical writing to enhance our existing literature and develop new collateral
Coordination with business development leadership in strategic development of marketing collateral
Update and maintain marketing collateral and database.
In addition, the qualified individual will also be responsible for:
Project and client database management
Industry research, data gathering, and reporting
Support of business development team and positioning activities
Occasionally attend industry related organization functions and events
Occasionally assist with development and management of strategic local business development plan
Additional related tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum of two (2) years experience as a proposal/marketing coordinator in a professional services firm (i.e. construction, architecture, engineering or commercial real estate organization).
BA/BS degree with concentration in Marketing, Graphic Design, Journalism or Communications highly preferred.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite. InDesign is required.
Must be detail-oriented, work well in a fast-paced environment, and possess strong writing, editing, communication, organization, and computer skills.
Experience with CRM databases preferred.
Ability to maintain a strong sense of focus and confidence under tight deadlines and varying workloads.
Ability to lead processes and work with colleagues who have diverse interpersonal styles.

The qualified individual will assess enclosure systems, and design repairs for existing enclosure systems. Qualifications

Engineer in Training (EIT) or Architectural Intern track.
Interest in building enclosure design, repair, retrofit and the integrated design and delivery of high performance buildings.
Skills should include:
Microsoft Office (WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT)
Computer Aided Drafting/Design (AUTOCAD, REVIT, Rhino, Grasshopper)

Hiring Range - The good faith base salary hiring range for this job if performed in Austin is $133,000 to $165,000 per year. This range is commensurate with experience, educational background, and skill level. Benefits are not included in the base salary. Please note hiring ranges for candidates performing work outside of Austin will differ.

Responsibilities
This individual must be skilled in the use of Autodesk Civil 3D to perform the following tasks: Creating alignments, creating surfaces and contours, generating plan and profile sheets, creating roadway corridors, and using Civil 3D styles for labeling.
As a firm, we are committed to issuing our drawings using Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and Navisworks. To be qualified for this role you must have experience and be proficient in the use of the current versions all three.
In this position, the individual will be required to work closely with a team of Civil Engineers and Technicians on a variety of projects.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent + basic drafting/CAD training
Minimum of 2 years Land/Site Development drafting experience
Minimum of 2 years of Civil 3D
Navisworks design experience preferred
Proficient in AutoCAD, latest version
