Responsibilities
In this position the qualified individual will investigate and determine the service life of building enclosure assemblies. The qualified individual will assess enclosure systems, and design repairs for existing enclosure systems. They will perform enclosure review to assess air infiltration, rain water control, heat transfer, and vapor transmission. They will perform building performance analysis including evaluate daylighting, solar heat gain, thermal energy transfer, and holistic integration of the enclosure with building mechanical, lighting, and plumbing systems.
A sound technical background and excellent oral and written communication skills are required. A technical background in CADD and building performance modeling software is preferred. You'll develop a strong background in building facade and roofing assemblies, understanding of building science and thermal analysis concepts as well as a knowledge of modeling building performance and sustainability.
Job Responsibilities will include:
Assist Project Manager with project tasks.
Review and organize project-related documents.
Research building codes and industry standards.
Write assessment reports.
Perform field investigations, including non-destructive testing, travel required.
Performance modeling of enclosure assemblies using different software.
Analyze proposed repair/design options.
Design and draft repair drawings and details.
Prepare construction documents such as repair drawings and specifications.
Observe construction and installation of repairs/designs in the field, including quality assurance testing.
Prepare site visit reports and meeting minutes.
Interact with project clients, sub-consultants, and repair contractors.
Qualifications
M.S. in Architectural Engineering or Architecture in Building Science/Building Enclosures/ Historic Preservation.
Engineer in Training (EIT) or Architectural Intern track.
Interest in building enclosure design, repair, retrofit and the integrated design and delivery of high performance buildings.
Skills should include:
Microsoft Office (WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT)
Computer Aided Drafting/Design (AUTOCAD, REVIT, Rhino, Grasshopper)
Experience with building performance modeling, software preferred (ECOTECT, VASARI, ENERGYPLUS, EQUEST, DESIGNBUILDER, DIVA, IES-VE, THERM, WUFI)

Support members transitioning from institutional care settings to community-based care
Provide subject matter expertise, within scope of license, regarding member's physical health to support the development and delivery of a whole person approach to Care Management
Work collaboratively with other Alliance staff, behavioral health providers, primary care physicians, specialty care providers and other community partners and stakeholders to support members in their home communities
Complete Assessments and Planning
Utilize person-centered planning, motivational interviewing, and assessments to gather information
Perform individual assessments/screenings for members that are medically fragile or have significant health conditions, have a mental health condition, substance use condition, or co-occurring intellectual or developmental disability
In the Transition and Housing setting, staff will also assess and record member's activities and progress
Provide education and supports to members and/or legal guardians regarding self-care strategies, their rights and responsibilities, available treatment options, provider network availability and payor requirements that may impact service access or maintenance
Educate team members about impact of member's health conditions on service engagement, clinical outcomes, and prognosis for change
Actively collaborate with member and care team members to ensure care plan accurately reflects the individual's clinical needs and desired life goals

Provide education about advanced directives, preferred natural support and physical health contacts whom the member identifies, and preferred crisis facilities

Obtain information releases that will improve care management activities on behalf of the member
Reports care quality concerns to Quality Management as needed
Documentation

Complete Assessment/Planning
Complete comprehensive assessments or Care Needs Screening at enrollment, yearly or at changes in condition
Develop Plans of Care derived from the completed assessments
Demonstrate commitment to whole person/integrated care
Assign interventions/plans of care to applicable Alliance Care Management team member to meet identified member needs, for monitoring, and/or service engagement activities
Submit referrals to the CCM when a physical health or behavioral health need indicates medical and/or pharmaceutical complexity

Responsibilities
We are currently looking for Engineers in a veriety of our office locations. You would be responsible for:
Performing structural computations in the design and analysis of concrete, steel or other miscellaneous structures
Creating analysis models and interpreting results for 2D and 3D structural frames
Assisting with construction administrative tasks, including site visits and shop drawing review
Understanding load paths for gravity and lateral loads and calculating applicable loads based on appropriate building codes
Assisting with design drawings, quantities, cost estimates, specifications, reports and other project deliverables while working with the structures team
Preparing technical studies and reports
In this position, the individual will be required to work closely with a team of Structural Engineers and/or Project Managers. A willingness to work in a team environment, following the standards we have in place is a must. A “can-do”, client-focused attitude is crucial.
Qualifications
Master's in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural Engineering
4-8 years of experience
P.E. license in your resident state required
Experience with Revit, Rhino or Grasshopper is a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication
Strong organizational skills

AECOM
is seeking an
Entry-Level Environmental Scientist
to be based in one of our offices in Georgia, Alabama, Florida, or South Carolina. This position will support our environmental compliance, remediation, permitting and planning projects within our Environment business line.
This position is expected to begin Spring/Summer 2026.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Data collection and analysis for environmental compliance, sustainability, and stormwater projects
Environmental sampling (e.g., stormwater, wastewater, and hazardous waste)
Development of technical memoranda and reports
Preparation of environmental reporting forms
Local travel is likely and U.S travel possible and project dependent.
Builds analytic and design skills
Conducts engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer
Creates designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer
Collects and analyzes data under the supervision of an experienced engineer
Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems
Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule under supervision
Site visits to federal, industrial, and municipal clients
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Ecology, Biology or related discipline, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Due to the nature of the work, U.S. Citizenship is required for this role.
Valid US Driver's License is required for this position. As condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review.
Preferred Qualifications:
General knowledge of basic engineering and environmental sciences.
Proficiency in standard office suite software applications.
OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER Certification.
Ability to demonstrate professional demeanor in written and verbal communications with clients, regulatory officials, and fellow employees.
Ability to write and to convey complex thoughts and ideas in a clear, concise manner.
Ability to learn through on-the-job experience.
Tolerance for work in outdoor environments in a range of weather conditions.
Ability to work independently, both in an office environment and in the field.
Ability to travel locally, including occasional extended travel.
