Review finished products to ensure that all specifications and contractual requirements have been met and that component accountability is complete.
Review special process certifications for compliance to customer requirements.
Review final inspection reports of details, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies.
Review and approve Tool Inspection Records, FAI reports, CofC documents, and compile final customer inspection packages.
Follow the companies' document control protocols per the Quality Management System.
Support manual inspection utilizing micrometers, calipers, etc. to ensure the integrity of the components as needed.
Maintain knowledge of customer and industry standards and specifications.
Serve as the primary liaison contact and support for customer quality representatives and source inspectors.
Stay current and up to date on customer quality clauses and standards which may require online accounts.
Physical review of tooling, tool ID, torque striping/bugging, proof load witnessing, vacuum, etc.
Problem investigation and resolution in accordance with Nonconformance/Corrective Action Processes, Quality Manager, Build Lead, Program Manager, etc.
Provide support to the build team, project managers, and other stakeholders by interpreting GD & T specifications and ensuring compliance with identification, paint, coating, welding, and testing requirements in accordance with customer standards.

Qualifications
Minimum of High School Diploma/GED required.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a quality assurance buyoff/engineering position or in aerospace and/or aerospace tooling industry.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Adobe tools, ensuring timely and accurate creation of professional materials.
Ability to effectively handle tasks in a fast- paced environment
Able to work overtime and weekends when necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiar with AS9100 and/or ISO9001 Quality Management Systems
Proficient in GD & T interpretation.
Confident in leading processes, projects and looks for opportunities to improve current processes.

About the PositionAs an entry-level production role, the BIM Specialist is part of the production team that supports all levels of the engineering team across multiple disciplines. This individual supports the process of virtually constructing a building and documenting the design contract from the construction documents set through record drawing submittals.
This individual must learn the fundamentals of technology systems such as telecommunications infrastructure, cabling, audiovisual, security, acoustics, and wired and wireless networks. Support System Engineering Department in development of the System Specification Document - Safety requirement management - definition, connectivity, traceability, validation.
Create Hazard Tracking System (HTS) and Preliminary and Functional Hazard Analysis (PHA & FHA) - as required, to determine compliance to contract and/or System Specification Document. Add other documents as necessary.
Generate, as required, System Safety reports to be submitted to the Customer.
Manage end to end traceability of the Hazards mitigations for the assigned systems.
Create and manage Human/System Interface Databases, Hazard Logs, Risk Registers and
CUI
Work with the HW and SW engineers identifying Safety hazards and mitigation strategy.
Qualifications:
Only U.S. Citizens may be considered.
Degree in any of the system-related disciplines or equivalent.
Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, other engineering will also be considered.
Minimum of 7 years of applicable experience; fewer years will be considered with an advanced degree.
Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment with minimal supervision.
Strong communication, organization, and prioritization skills.
Must be able to meet Anthropometric Size Requirements for confined space.
Familiarity with MIL-STD-882E.
Must possess or be able to obtain a security clearance.
Experience in Cameo.
Preferred Qualifications
Professional certification in Human Factors / Ergonomics (e.g., CCCPE, BCPE) desired.
Experience in Human Factors/Ergonomics and System Safety in product design.
Familiarity with User Centered Design philosophy and approaches.
Experience with safety and HFE related Military Standards (e.g., MIL-STD-882, MIL-HDBK-764, MIL-STD-1472) preferred.
Able to construct and update Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) and Event Tree Analyses (ETA).
An understanding of Functional Failure Analysis.
Government experience is highly beneficial due to the knowledge required for handling, processing, storing, and marking documents.

The AI Transformation Lead will partner with department leaders to identify, design, and implement practical AI applications that improve productivity, quality, and decision-making. They will establish the roadmap, oversee pilots, and coordinate internal training and adoption initiatives across the Waltonen's departments.
Key Responsibilities
Assess departmental workflows to identify automation and AI augmentation opportunities.
Develop an AI implementation roadmap across Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Development, Quality, and Program Management.
Evaluate and integrate AI tools and platforms that align with company infrastructure.
Work with IT and data teams to ensure data governance and security compliance.
Develop KPIs and success metrics for each AI initiative.
Create training materials, user guides, and “AI playbooks” per department.
Facilitate workshops and cross-department collaboration to share success stories.
Report on progress to leadership and adjust the strategy as adoption matures.
All employees are required to work within the confines and responsibilities of the quality system.
Qualifications
5+ years in digital transformation, automation, or AI program management.
Experience with large-scale enterprise AI tools (Microsoft 365 Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, Azure OpenAI, etc.).
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage vendor relationships.
Strong communication and change management skills.
Background in engineering/manufacturing environments a plus.
