The Site Civil Foreman reports to the Construction Superintendent/Site Manager or the Civil Superintendent and will be responsible for leading crews in all Civil and Structural construction work for TAS module installation. The Drywall Foreman is responsible for oversight, training, and coordinating the day-to-day activities at assigned job sites, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to high-quality standards. Qualifications for Internal Candidates Required Qualifications * Must have 5+ years working as a Journeyman carpenter on an industrial construction project. * Must have 2+ years of experience working in a supervisory position * Must be able to read blueprints, plans, and drawings proficiently to perform duties. * Must have knowledge of materials, tools, and processes involved with basic building techniques and form construction. * Must be able to compute basic arithmetic functions, measure, mark, and cut equipment and materials to specification. * Must have reliable transportation. * Must be able to work full work schedule and any additional overtime as needed * Must be willing to work safely and follow all safety rules and regulations. * Must follow all company and site rules and regulations. Preferred Additional Qualifications * Current Zachry or Zachry ROF'ed employee. * Former experience working with Zachry Industrial, Inc. * National Center for Construction Education and Research's (NCCER) certification for Industrial Journeyman Carpenter. * Formal/Technical education. * Experience working with concrete and rebar. Reports to Position This position will be responsible for a crew of up to 5-15 craft workers. The crew will be a mix of a journeyman, helpers, and laborers. Physical Requirements * Employee will be required to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting and lifting. * Will talk and hear to communicate. * Will use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, and pull: objects, materials, controls and tools. * May be required to pick up, lift, carry and move up to 50lbs. * Will work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and may occasionally work off of platforms/scaffolding using the appropriate fall protection requirements. * Must be able to work in all weather conditions (including heat, rain, cold and wind) while wearing appropriate PPE. * Will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to: hard hat, safety glasses/spoggles, ear plugs, masks/respirators, hi-vis safety vests, leather gloves and leather steel-toed work boots. Carpenters are responsible for building forms, bracing, shoring, and other support structure in the construction of various commercial buildings. This would include, but is not limited to office buildings, schools, religious facilities, and health care facilities. Performs tasks as determined by a specific job site.
