Manages multiple, cross functional Mission Excellence initiatives across SRR's business unit. Provides subject matter expertise to continuous process improvement (CPI) activities including Lean Management and Six Sigma.
Assignments are complex to highly complex, often ambiguous and require creativity and ingenuity to effectively deliver the end result. This is the highest skill level in the job family and considered a sensitive.
Major responsibilities:
Implements process improvement initiatives across SRR. Analyzes and measures the effectiveness of existing business processes and develops sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable business process improvements
Educates and promotes Lean and Six Sigma methodologies and follows applicable guidelines

Qualifications
The Lead LEAN Process Improvement Professional - Procedure / Training shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years, Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; and proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and related tools and technology required for the position. Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria. All employees, in the performance of their respective responsibilities, shall conduct themselves in the highest possible standards of ethical and business conduct. The candidate shall ensure that duties are performed in a competent and professional manner that meets milestones/delivery schedules as outlined.
Requisite work experience and technical skills to fulfill the roles and responsibilities of the Lead Lean Process Improvement Professionals working and performing tasks in the Energy Industry (Oil and Gas / Power and Utilities / Nuclear Energy)
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
8+ years related experience in process improvement or project management.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - Electrical Instrumentation Subject Matter Expert - Engineering (IM122)
Provide Savannah River Misson Completion (SRMC) an Electrical & Instrumentation Subject Matter Expert (SME). This would include support for the maintenance organization and coordination for the following:
Measuring & Test Equipment (MT&E), Installed Process Instrumentation, Radiological Monitoring Equipment, and Distributive Control Systems. (Note this is a list of examples and is not all inclusive)
Provide mentoring for E&I mechanics and FLMs on Instrumentation Calibrations, DCS, M&TE & Radiological Instruments at management discretion.
Ensures schedules are logically correct and has included the applicable Work Package approvals, Pre-Job Briefing(s), Lockout(s)/Tagout(s), LCOs, and Post Maintenance Tests (PMTs).
Ensuring Task Readiness.
Interfaces with Engineering, RCO, Operations and other support groups to ensure adequate support for field activities.
Meet with the Work Window Coordinator/Operations/Engineering/Maintenance personnel to review, evaluate and resolve maintenance schedule impacts.
Assist with performing Technical Safety Requirements (TSR) calibrations, which includes surveillance procedure reviews and implementation.
The Subcontractor shall perform other duties as assigned.

Provide support to Savannah River Mission Completion (SRMC) as a Radiation Protection Technology Student Intern - Limited Service Employee (LSE) on the Savannah River Site (SRS), a US Department of Energy (DOE) facility in Aiken, South Carolina.
Responsibilities
The Radiation Protection Technology student intern will perform meaningful work in support of the SRMC organization. The selected Radiation Protection Technology student intern will acquire a basic understanding of radiological protection field activities associated with surveys in radiological areas and use of count room equipment. Selected student interns will gain knowledge of portable survey instruments, scalers, smear & direct probe surveys, posting updates, and contamination control. Selected student interns will use specialized computer programs to document radiological surveys and issue dosimetry.
Additional Information:
The internship will start February 2026 and end in April 2026. Resumes should be submitted as early as possible and will be reviewed by the selection panel in early January.
A 40-hour work week is set and scheduled by the individual departments. SRMC utilizes various work schedules including 5/8s (8 hours/day; five days per week), 4/10s (10 hours/day; four days per week), etc. Each workday has a 30-minute lunch. Student interns will be paid a competitive hourly rate; no student interns will be assigned to shift work; overtime is not available; Student interns will be paid for site holidays as applicable.
Assignments will be located in SRMC facilities in Aiken, SC. Public transportation is not available, and interns will be required to arrange their own transportation. A valid Driver's License, Registration and proof of automobile insurance is required for driving on the Savannah River Site.
