Valuables and all forms of identifification will be delivered to Fiscal Assistant II in Accounting for storage in the safe until resident discharge. Responsible for ensuring that all property is taken to the Clinic when a discharge notice is received. All property left behind will need to be boxed and prepared for shipping to person(s) as indicated by the resident. We be responsible for locating former residents to determine disposition of remaining property.
* Responsible for approving package permit requests and processing packages when received at NFETC. Will document all items and quantities received in packages, will propare allowable items for Thrift Shop delivery. Will notify Counselor of items being withheld and reason for withholding. Will update resident property database to reflect activity pertaining to package processing.
* Responsible for town shopping when necessary for items sold in the Canteen and Thrift Shop. Per center policy, must have a valid Florida's Drivers License when operating a state vehicle.

PRINCIPAL OBJECTIVE:
Under general supervision, is responsible for outbound/inbound truck activities to support the manufacturing of products. This includes truck loading, receiving, warehousing, shipping, trailer transport and inspection adhering to standard operating procedures (SOP) and other regulatory requirements to ensure production goals are met.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Operate forklift in a safe and efficient manner, with a valid forklift license.
• Supervise the preparation trailers for shipment to include cleaning of the trailer, proper disposition of returned product with the paperwork completed properly.
• Load of trucks with products listed in order onto mini or wood pallets using correct equipment for the task. Always use the oldest stock first and sign off on paperwork as product is being loaded. A second team member must also sign off product has been loaded with correct count.
o Loading includes proper stacking and stretch wrapping product when required.
• Load trucks using proper equipment and warehousing of product according to instructions, always rotating stock. Turn in paperwork with correct count after unloading any product.
• Pick up trash, cardboard, and dispose of it properly. Sweep and clean the warehouse daily, dump trashcans into dumpster, and dispose of unusable cardboard in compactor, daily. Ensure your work area is clean and safe at all times.
• Report all equipment malfunctions and unsafe conditions to Maintenance or Plant Manager.
• Supervise the re-bagging broken bags of product. Using hand sewer according to instructions.
• Responsible for keeping an open line of communication between, production and Plant Manager in order to keep the overall operation flowing smoothly and efficiently.
• Perform daily PM checks on forklifts and yard truck as required.
• Propper us of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
• Obey all work rules and corporate policies.

The Office of SAMH is statutorily responsible for the planning, evaluation, and implementation of a comprehensive statewide system of care for the prevention, treatment, and recovery of children and adults with serious mental illnesses or substance use disorders.
North Florida Evaluation and Treatment Center (NFETC) is a 216 bed, all male, forensic, mental health rehabilitation facility. The Center is located in northeast Gainesville, Florida on 639 picturesque acres with regular sightings of deer, turkey and other wildlife. NFETC employs a variety of entry level to leadership positions including food service, maintenance, direct care, nurses, counselors, rehab therapists, medical doctors, security, psychiatrists, and psychologists.

This is a highly responsible and professional position serving as the Storekeeper II - F/C OPS within the Safety/Risk Unit. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player who works seamlessly across all sections within the program office. Specific Duties and Responsibilities include:
* Responsible for scheduling all Thrift Shop appointments. Will be responsible for approving all Thrift Shop paperwork prior to posting schedule. Will ensure that all resident requests for clothing items won't cause resident to go over clothing counts. Will ensure that appointments are set as soon as possible after receiving request. Will ensure that residents are outfitted properly according to established center policy. Will ensure labeling of all clothing being given to resident. Will be responsible for processing resident shop sales. Will ensure that sales are correctly entered into resident account and the purchase will not cause the resident to overspend. Will properly document sales on shop sales sheet for sales and taxes.
* Responsible for arranging package pick-up for residents as soon as packages are processed in resident property and approved for pick-up. Will ensure that items being removed from resident room to be placed in resident property are delivered to resident property office on same day.
* Responsible for ordering all clothing and shoes needed to stock Thrift Shop. Will be responsible for daily cleanliness of Thrift Shop area and ensuring that safety standards are kept.
* Responsible for bi-weekly inventory control of Thrift Shop clothing items. Inventory control will include ordering, receiving, storing and issuing clothing for resident use. Completed counts should be reconciled and adjusted.
* Responsible for Canteen processing and preparing resident canteen orders for staff pick-up. Will be responsible for processing staff cash sales. Will also assist with the cleanliness of the Canteen and ensuring safety standards are kept
* Responsible for town shopping when necessary for items sold in the Canteen and Thrift Shop. Per center policy, must have a valid Florida's Drivers License when operating a state vehicle.
* Responsible for approving package permit requests and processing packages when received at NFETC. Will document all items and quantities received in packages, will prepare allowable items for Thrift Shop delivery. Will notify Counselor of items being withheld and reason for withholding. Will update resident property database to reflect activity pertaining to package processing.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required for the position:
* Knowledge of record-keeping procedures.
* Skill in assembling, disassembling and operating laboratory apparatus.
* Ability to receive, sort, verify and store chemicals, apparatus and supplies.
* Ability to prepare purchase requisitions.
* Ability to inspect equipment and materials to ensure that they are prepared and issued according to schedule and instructions.
* Ability to communicate effectively.
* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Three years of clerical, supplies or storekeeping experience, one year of which must have involved storekeeping activities.
* College education from an accredited institution can substitute at the rate of 30 semester or 45 quarter each year of the required experience.
