Position Overview
The Shipping & Warehouse Supervisor ensures the efficient, accurate, and timely movement of materials and products through Seco Precision's supply chain. This role plays a critical part in safeguarding inventory integrity, optimizing warehouse space, and meeting shipping deadlines to support customer satisfaction and business performance. By working hands-on alongside the team and leading warehouse and shipping personnel, the supervisor maintains high standards of safety, compliance, and operational efficiency, directly contributing to Seco Precision's reputation for quality and reliability.
Primary Responsibilities
· Actively participate in and oversee daily shipping and warehouse operations, ensuring orders are processed accurately and shipped on time.
· Manage incoming and outgoing freight, coordinating with carriers to optimize cost, efficiency, and delivery schedules.
· Lead, train, and develop warehouse and shipping staff, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
· Monitor inventory accuracy, conduct counts, and implement corrective measures to reduce discrepancies.
· Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, trade, and quality requirements by modeling best practices on the floor.
· Maintain warehouse layout, optimize storage utilization, and oversee proper use and upkeep of equipment.
· Analyze operational data, prepare reports and KPIs, and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
· Collaborate with production, procurement, and customer service teams to meet quality, delivery, and performance goals.
· Oversee and assist in maintenance of shipping and warehouse equipment.
· Support and drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean, 5S, or Six Sigma practices.

Requirements
Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience
· Proven experience supervising shipping and warehouse operations in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
· Strong understanding of logistics, freight management, and inventory control.

About the Role:
Be the driving force behind our warehouse performance. You'll operate forklift and clamp trucks to position inventory, stage orders, and load outbound trucks keeping safety, speed, and precision at the forefront. Your independence and accuracy help us exceed customer quality expectations every shift.
Responsibilities
* Operate forklift/clamp trucks to move finished goods from conveyors and place products into designated warehouse bays.
* Read work orders and follow instructions to determine materials to move; load and unload packaging supplies and finished products.
* Safely transport materials from receiving/production to storage, quarantine, or designated areas.
* Use industrial trucks or electric hoists to assist in loading/moving materials and products.
* Mark materials with identifying information; monitor outgoing finished products; maintain accurate paperwork (move sheets, load sheets, etc.).
* Review production schedules, customer orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to pick, stage, or distribute items.
* Use computers to enter and maintain inventory records; perform equipment checks each shift.

* Participate in physical inventory counts; sort and place materials by size, type, style, color, or product code; operate man lifts as required.
* Drive a shuttle truck to move empty/full trailers between the trailer lot and loading docks.
* Communicate with the Warehouse Coordinator/Shift Supervisor about inventory, orders, customer questions, and equipment maintenance needs.
* Help identify issues across shifts by reviewing recorded data; uphold housekeeping standards and proper storage of tools/supplies.
* Follow all safety warning signs/signals; attend department/plant safety meetings; support continuous improvement in quality, environmental, health, and safety.
* Perform administrative duties and other related tasks as directed.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or GED (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
Experience: Minimum 2 years of warehouse/forklift experience in a manufacturing environment.
Certifications: Must be able to obtain and maintain an OSHA Certified Industrial Truck Operator License; man lift certified (or able to obtain).

Your Day at Lowe's
As a Receiver/Stocker, you keep our stores clean and presentable to improve customers' overall shopping experience. You ensure our merchandise is accurately received and replenished by safely unloading merchandise from incoming freight, moving it to the sales floor, and stocking shelves.
This role is physically demanding, and to be successful, you will need to understand proper lifting procedures and prepare to move merchandise for most of your shift. Additionally, you will replace damaged shelving, keep the backroom organized, handle hazardous materials, and ensure equipment is charged.

What You'll Be Doing

Be the driving force behind our warehouse performance.
