Receive and deliver shipments (except cash)
Verify Shipments received are correct items, quantities and cost.
Maintain accurate inventory and rotate stock items by kitchen.
Maintain receiving equipment(i.e. pallet jack and forklift once trained)
Keep Dock 4 area clean by sweeping and mopping daily.
Keep Dock 4 coolers and freezers clean and organized.
Maintain kitchen coolers and freezers.
Some computer work is required for searching inventory, orders and returns.
Assist Sous Chefs with month end inventories.

Assists shipping and receiving by unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, and matching purchase orders to sales orders.
Reads customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped.
Moves materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
Sorts and places product according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, or product code.
Helps drivers and/or loading crew find product, build, and load routes.
Replenishes pick areas while following FIFO rotation.

Required Skills & Abilities

Education & Experience
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must have valid drivers license.
No DWI/DUI or excessive driving infractions in last 5 years.
Eligibility for and interest in obtaining a CDL-A (Commercial Drivers License) strongly preferred.
Training provided by company if necessary.
One year of prior warehouse clerk experience preferred.
Forklift experience strongly preferred.
Basic mechanical skills preferred.
Work Environment
This position works in a warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, and standard warehouse equipment such as forklifts, hand trucks, box cutters and tape dispensers.
Physical Requirements
Manual Dexterity and Coordination: Regular use of hands and fingers for fine manipulation, handling, and feeling objects. This includes reaching with hands and arms.
Communication: Regular talking and hearing are required for effective communication.
Mobility: Frequent standing and walking are necessary. This also includes frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
