The Warehouse Assistant supports daily warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping and receiving. This person is responsible for accurately transacting inventory in the ERP system, locating items efficiently, and preparing shipments. Key Responsibilities: Accurately transacts client inventory movement in the ERP System. Quickly and efficiently locates items using inventory software and knowledge of the warehouse. Fulfills client orders by pulling specific quantities, sizes, etc., and ensuring accuracy throughout. Prepare items for outgoing shipments, including labeling, packaging, and shipping documents. Assist in receiving small displays ensuring all items are present and in good condition, count items, and update inventory management systems. Reports discrepancies and variances and provides solutions. Completes reports on the disposition of items and provides recommendations for repair and disposal. Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with company policy and safety regulations. Establish and maintain designated work areas and arrange as needed. Always ensure orderly and safe conditions. Utilize material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, carts and dollies. Assist with the daily receiving tasks and requirements. Deliver incoming shipments to the corresponding department. Other duties as applies. What we're looking for: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. High attention to detail and ability to pick up on subtle differences. Proficiency in basic software usage of Microsoft Office Suite Experience with fulfillment software and RF Devices or a willingness to learn. Ability to adapt to new software and tools quickly. Ability to multitask and prioritize work processes efficiently while working under pressure. Adhere to strict safety, quality, and fulfillment production standards. Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around. Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills. May work independently or as part of a team of two or more. Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required. Must be able to work in various weather conditions and temperatures in a warehouse and on a loading dock.
