As the Warehouse Associate , we need someone who will own a variety of material handling duties such as receiving, loading/unloading material, pulling/assembling customers' orders, and inventory checks. This position involves the daily use of forklift equipment.
Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $16.39/hr and $20.45/hr at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the compensation package, which depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other company-sponsored benefit programs.
Primary Objective
Performs a variety of material handling duties associated with the warehouse.
Primary Function And Scope
Performs a variety of warehouse duties such as pulling/assembling customer orders, checking outbound orders for accuracy/completeness, inventory stock checks, restocking and labeling vendor products, maintaining displays (tools, caulk, etc.), moving, storing, and replenishing material, and conduct daily cycle counts.
Performs receiving duties such as receiving and unloading inbound material, processing inbound shipments and stock material, processing customer returns, and notifying management of damaged shipments for freight claims.
Operates forklift equipment.
Maintains clean and organized facility by sweeping, trash removal, restroom, general office maintenance, etc.
May wait on customers and prepare sales slips.
Maintains a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules outlined in the Safety Program and reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions, and acts to Management.
Performs other related duties as required.
Experience And Knowledge Required
High School diploma or equivalent experience.
Certified Forklift Operator.
3+ years of previous warehouse experience preferred.

This position is responsible for completing tasks within in the shipping, receiving and inventory functions while maintaining equipment and the area in which it is all stored. Employee will perform physical activities while handling different types of materials daily.

Operate material-moving equipment including forklift, pallet jacks and hand truck
Assists with the preparation of products and equipment for shipping
Attach identification information to products, items or containers
Process and inspect all incoming shipments for accuracy and quality
Pack, unpack, and label stock items and containers using identification tag or other labeling equipment
Receive and fill orders as necessary
Distribute materials to fellow employees as needed
Confer with other team members regarding procurement and stock availability
Regularly inspect stock items for quantity, wear or defects
Cleans maintains and organizes supplies, tools, equipment and storage areas to ensure ready access and compliance to safety regulations
Assist with building maintenance as necessary

Essential Skills:
Must be able to repetitively lift, move, place, pack and unpack materials up to 50 pounds alone and heavier with assistance
HS Diploma or equivalent
Minimum one (1) year in a manufacturing environment working within a stock, shipping and/or receiving capacity
Must be a strong team player, capable of fostering and thriving in a close knit, cross functional team environment
Strong verbal communication skills (English)
Ability to coordinate with others, conveying information effectively
Dexterity to adjust, repair, assemble, and prepare products, supplies, equipment, or other items, according to specifications or customer requirements
Must be reliable with the ability to work overtime as needed
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and anticipate work needs in a fast-paced environment with emphasis on quality, accuracy and timeliness
Will need to successfully pass a personal background check and drug screenings
Non-Essential Skills:
Experience working in a Research and Development environment
Basic computer skills (email, Excel, ERP, etc.)
Physical & Mental Demands:
Regularly required to sit, walk, bend, stoop, climb, kneel, crouch and stand within an industrial environment
Will need to repeatedly use hands and fingers to operate basic office equipment and operate hand and power tools standard to a production environment
Expected to effectively communicate in person, on phone, and via email and other electronic devices on a continual and repetitive basis

Vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
