Michigan Ave. Ypsilanti, MI 48198 Pay starts at $18.00 an hour with the opportunity for premium pay Schedule is Sunday starting at 12 noon and Monday - Thursday starting at 3pm until finish 1+ year of stand up reach truck experience required Position Purpose: The Reach Truck Operator transports incoming freight to inventory from staging areas for storage in the appropriate slots, on the multi-level racks in the assigned warehouse area and replenish/re-stock pick slots in a timely manner ensuring all safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality standards are met and to maintain the efficient flow of the production process Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company. Responsibilities may include, but not limited to: Receives all inbound merchandise and locate proper pick location. Restocks order pick and flow lines to prepare warehouse for order selection. Ensures placement of product in sufficient quantities to accommodate routine or special demands. Maintains a high level of attention to detail by ensuring that proper attention is given to all areas including, but not limited to; balers, aisles, racking, floors, door pits, and other areas as assigned. Transfers merchandise from the receiving area to it appropriate location. Consolidates merchandise into picking containers as necessary. Packs products securely in cartons and totes. Ensures application of shipping ID and mark cartons/totes with truck run and stop number. Ensures safe and efficient movement and tracking of inbound, outbound, and stored products within the warehouse. Maintains inventory integrity by adhering to system processes. Pulls orders according to sequencing on delivery route/run list. Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed. Performs end of shift tasks such as: charging power equipment and verifying completed work. Maintains orderly workstation; return supplies and merchandise to assigned locations. Follow all preferred work methods, safety policies and procedures per company guidelines. Ensure work area is safe and report any unsafe conditions and/or acts immediately. Perform other related duties as assigned. STARTING RATE: $19-21/Hour MMI Engineered Solutions is looking for reliable, detail-oriented, and motivated individuals to join our team as a Shipper. The Shipper is responsible for handling all shipping duties, including preparing, labeling, and processing outgoing shipments,and maintaining accuracy and compliance in all warehouse activities. Key Responsibilities: * Process outgoing shipments through IQMS, ensuring proper labeling and documentation. * Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently. * Process UPS and FedEx shipments. * Receive and verify incoming materials, ensuring accuracy and proper inventory placement. * Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records, including bills of lading and freight documents. * Report any discrepancies, damages, or quality concerns immediately. * Operate forklifts and hand-held scanners safely and effectively. * Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) utilization and maintain 5S standards throughout the warehouse. * Assist with quarterly inventory and general warehouse organization. * Follow all safety and environmental procedures and maintain a clean work area.
