Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for pulling products for Agency Partner orders.

Remove product from storage to fill, stage, and or load orders for shipment on a first in/ first out basis. Storage locations are located throughout warehouse; however work activity may be confined to specific location within warehouse, for example freezer/cooler.
Assist local agency representatives in picking up orders.
Assist with product receipt and distribution processes as needed.
May train and direct volunteers in performing various warehouse duties.
Mark the paperwork properly when making adjustments for product shortages.
Keep accurate records on load sheets, inventory sheets, scrap sheets, and computerized equipment.
Verify all outbound product verification methods for Agency Deliveries & Mobile Distributions with the drivers to ensure orders are accurate and accounted for.

Requirements:

Working Conditions

Employee may be going in and out of freezers and coolers with extreme variations in temperature. Workspace could be very dusty, and on occasions can be noisy due to the traffic of motorized vehicles operated in the building. Periodically may work outside and be exposed to the elements. Employee may be exposed to spoiled food and sharp objects due to working with damaged product. Work involves moving boxes and employee must lift, bend, stoop, pick up and move objects up to 75 pounds. Work involves using manual pallet jacks and therefore requires an ability to push and pull pallets over 2,000 pounds.
May work evenings and weekends due to special events and other projects related to timely and accurate warehousing and distribution of product.

Inventory Control Specialist

Position Summary
The Inventory Control Specialist position is responsible for assisting the inventory control team in the management of inventory in the warehouse. The inventory team and this position is responsible for 'can't finds', replenishment, cycle counts, resolving inventory discrepancies and proper storage mediums.
Key Responsibilities
Follow and implement the approved cycle count process which will involve knowledge of the materials/locations system and included skills such as problem solving of discrepancies.
Highlight areas of concern associated with inventory problems and highlight statement of facts surrounding the property loss, damage, destruction, or additions of materials. Adopt a pro-active rather than a reactive approach.
Utilizes system reports to identify inventories to both systematically and physically move between. Utilizes system reports to identify items/locations to restock daily. Also will restock warehouse supplies between buildings.
Relocates and reworks product when necessary.
Reviews discrepancies recorded by the put-away/replenishment personnel and researches item and location records to resolve issues.
Re-slot materials based on size, volume, and direction.
Identify and help resolve any barriers that would hinder the receiving, put-away, replenishment, or shipping process.
Process customer returns.
All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred
1-2 years of warehouse experience preferred but not required
Ability to read and understand basic instructions, safety rules, and procedures
Basic math skills to verify quantities and pricing
Strong attention to detail and time management
Self-motivated with the ability to manage changing priorities
Experience with sit-down and stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, or other equipment is a plus
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for long periods and work on concrete surfaces
Must be able to bend, squat, stoop, kneel, climb, and reach as needed
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs (heavier with assistance or equipment)
Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and be alert to surroundings
Work Environment
Warehouse environment with moderate noise, vibration, and dust
May be exposed to varying temperatures and weather conditions
