Ensures that all Food service orders are verified by product.

Must Ensure that all GMP'S are follow that pertain to warehouse.
Maintains spoils and damages at a minimum and follow the necessary procedures when they occur.
Conducts accurate inventories by code.
Ensures that warehouse personnel are trained in all aspects of the operation in compliance with OSHA and AIB standards.
Participates as an active member in the safety, quality, and food safety committees.
Performs safety and sanitation audits.
Conducts monthly training sessions on safety and food safety for warehouse employees.
Participates in special safety assignments.
Maintains open and continuous communication with production and maintenance supervisors.
Performs other duties as required.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High School diploma, GED or equivalent required. College Degree preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse operations required. Preferably within a food manufacturing environment. With 2 years in a supervisory capacity or 4 years as a Lead in a manufacturing environment required. *Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience may be considered for the above.

SUMMARY:
The ideal candidate will manage all aspects of order fulfillment from our warehouse in Arvada, CO to customers both domestic and international. Daily duties include reading and understanding invoices that detail parts to be packed, pulling those parts, and packing them carefully in boxes or on pallets. Accuracy is critical to ensure all customers get exactly the items they ordered.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Job Responsibilities
As the Warehouse Assistant, your job responsibilities would include:
Assisting or solo checking in the daily parts order.
Stocking parts onto shelves.
Perform monthly and yearly inventory.
Delivering parts to technicians from the warehouse.
Staging incomplete orders for retail customers and technicians.
Ensuring the cleanliness of the warehouse.
Assistance with Core & New Part returns.
Communicating within and outside of the Parts Department to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of the inventory, parts deliveries, and other needs inside the warehouse.

Job Summary
The Order Puller Associate will stock incoming merchandise and fill customer orders. At AFW, we are proud that customers can pick up their furniture and take it home the same day. You will be a critical part of fulfilling that promise to the customer.
The Order Puller will safely operate a Stock Picker, Reach Truck, Down Forklift, and any other equipment necessary to transport merchandise for customers and other departments. We provide full training and certifications for all equipment.
Shift Hours: 8:00 pm - 6:30 am (4 Days - 10 Hour Shifts)
Weekly Pay Rate: $18.50/Hr+ $2/Hr (Shift Premium)
Shift Work Days: Monday - Thursday (Weekends Off)
Commuter Pay: $25 per week (Englewood Commuter Reimbursement)

Job Requirements
MUST BE 18 years or older.
Previous experience operating warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and cherry pickers helpful but not required.
Commitment to Safety
Knowledge of the correct lifting/team lifting techniques.
Capability to perform the correct lifting/team lifting techniques.
You have to work at heights! You will fill orders 0 to 35 feet above the ground.
Ability to work in multiple departments. It's a great opportunity to cross-train and learn new skills.
Ability to have a flexible schedule and work all shifts, holidays, and weekends. We are a retail operation, so that means we need you during our operation hours, which are Sunday through Saturday, 10 am and 10 pm. Some warehouse shifts are overnight and come with an additional pay premium
Technical skills:
Be an ambassador for safety in the workplace.
Ability to read, understand, and follow oral and written instructions accurately.
Operate material handling equipment to move products within the warehouse.
Operate a radio frequency (RF) scanner.
Correctly use a hand truck.
Capacity to effectively work independently of direct supervision.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Work as a team member by interacting and communicating with fellow associates cooperatively and constructively.
Physical Requirements:
Capacity to maneuver in confined and at times congested areas.
Capability to stand, walk, stoop, & bend for 8 hours or more daily.
Continuous use of arms, hands, fingers, eyes, legs, and back.
Ability to lift, lower, push, and pull all merchandise sizes up to 100 lbs. and the skill to handle/manipulate merchandise up to 250 lbs. frequently.
Lifting, gripping, bending, kneeling, stooping, and moving merchandise 8 hours or more daily.
