Job Purpose:
Assists in compliance with established procedures and maintains effective internal controls over the physical product flow and accounting of inventory, receiving, shipping, and other inventory areas in manufacturing, warehousing (internal and third party), and DC operations.
Responsibilities:
Adhere to best practices for food safety and quality, along with promoting the fairlife culture of Believe in Better.
Coordinate the flow of materials and trailers throughout the shipping and receiving operation, maintaining a safe and efficient environment.

Materials Clerk: Position begins at level II
• Kit work orders with required components, pull parts per First In First Out (FIFO), pull quantity requested, record lot number, allocate, and deliver to proper work center per Bill of Materials (BOM)/Traveler.
• Work with desktop computers and hand-held computers (scanners) to process ALL inventory transactions.
• Put Quality Assurance accepted parts into component parts inventory.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Goods Received & Products Shipped 50%)
* Receives raw materials and packaging components, for manufacturing and packaging.
* Unloads trucks and proper places (cold chain, controlled substances and labeling) material in the warehouse so that material is staged for inspection.
* Receives cold chain materials to support manufacturing and distribution operations. Ensures each product/material is stored in the correct cold chain environment.
* Receives/checks finished goods quantities from the packaging lines for accuracy.

Participate in all functions of the distribution and receiving for the warehouse
Receive products coming into the warehouse
Verify quantity and description of products
Assemble and fill orders to be shipped
Stock incoming orders
Maintain accurate physical inventories
Ensure all distribution and receiving are in a timely and orderly manner
Follow proper receiving procedures
Comply with all AVI policies and procedures, including but not limited to security procedures
Communicate any issues of concern to management (i.e. cleanliness, safety concerns, or security concerns)
Requirements:
Previous large food warehouse experience is preferred
Great work ethic
Ability to be exposed to temperature extremes and humidity
Ability to maintain a fast pace and multi-task
Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Monitor ware for quality defects and promptly inform the operator and/ or the coordinator. Pack at standard rate. Operate a punch. Load conveyors and flamers. Practice housekeeping on assigned line(s) and around machine including mopping if necessary. Remove scrap from around the line. Grind and pull plastic as needed. Make and unitize cartons as assigned. Initial and date box labels. Make out unit tickets. Do any other work as assigned by the Supervisor.
EDUCATION: Preferred: High School or GED

The construction of fairlife's manufacturing facility in Webster, NY is underway. This state-of-the-art, 750k sq ft, greenfield plant is expected to be operational in late 2025 and will lay the foundation for fairlife's next phase of growth as the leading dairy nutrition provider. 12 Hour Nights: This is a
night shift position
, with hours from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The role follows a rotating 2-2-3 schedule: two days on, two days off, three days on, followed by two days off, two days on, and three days off. Team members will work every other weekend, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
job purpose: The Warehouse Operator will be responsible for loading and unloading trailers, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the warehouse, and completing necessary paperwork in a clear and accurate manner. Accurate receipt confirmations from suppliers, accurate data entry of receipts, accurate shipping documentation of outgoing material to customers, and organized filing of manifests, certificates of authenticity, and bills of lading.
Comply with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions
Be Audit Ready: Have floors, drains, cooler, and posts cleaned as needed.
Coordinate outbound and inbound material flow to support sustainable inventory levels in our 112,000 sq ft racked storage, and 90,000 sq ft high density ASRS
Inform other departments of necessary changes or inventory discrepancies
Take inventory of consumable supplies daily ensuring that we have sufficient quantities
Will participate in cycle count program
Perform other duties as assigned by management
skills/qualifications required:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Minimum of 2-3 years of warehouse or logistics experience (food and beverage experience a plus)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience with handheld RF Scanner
Experience with powered industrial equipment
Basic Computer/data entry skills (WMS experience a plus)
Basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's)
Ability to learn and demonstrate working knowledge of warehouse automation
Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to a fast-paced environment
Ability to work different shifts including off shifts
Ability to handle ambiguity and work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
Proficiency in English: Comfortable with both written and verbal communication, including reading and writing
