Job Description Role Summary Summit's warehouse associates play a pivotal role in fulfilling our customers' needs for materials and services by receiving in new material from our vendors, picking customer's orders for will call or delivery, participating in cycle counting and other inventory management practices, and provide backup for drivers as necessary. This role is Summit's entry level branch position and an excellent role to be introduced to the business and learn skills, product knowledge, and industry best practices that prepare the associate for future opportunities at Summit. What you will do: Pull customer tickets to fulfill orders. Prepare orders for shipment to customers. Receive and stock products on a daily basis to replenish inventory. Understand products and their capabilities and warranties. Assist sales associates in fulfilling customer orders when necessary. Ensure warehouse and respective outside areas are neat and clean at all times. Maintaining safe practices and proactively upholds Summit's commitment to a safe workplace. Provide backup for drivers as necessary and safely deliver products to customer locations.
