Load all transfer shipments, LTL, FTL, and parcel as required, including logical delivery order when needed, and verify count, labeling, shipment grouping. Ensure full pallets are properly wrapped and staged in designed staging racks within the shipping area Provide feedback to warehouse freight leads on truck or trailer capacity as soon as possible. Primary duties: - Provide customer and donor assistance throughout the store: answer questions, anticipate customer's needs, offer help, and encourage sales - Intake of donations via timely, positive interactions with donors - Box and load donations onto a trailer - Keep merchandise clean and in the most saleable condition - Load donation trailers in a safe and efficient manner - Assist in unloading incoming trucks from the processing center - Assist in the sorting of used clothing Requirements: Part time associates MUST be available to work NIGHTS & WEEKENDS between the hours of 9 am to 7:30pm - 4/6 hour varying shifts. Part time position also available for daytime hours 10am- 3pm, 10am-4pm, or 1pm-6pm shifts. Capable of performing all job functions, including sales work, reading and writing sales slips, loading and unloading trucks, performing cleaning duties. Order Pullers are responsible for pulling the correct items in correct quantities for each retail store, as indicated on the packing slips for each order. They have good attention to detail, the ability to inspect for quality and quantity, as well as strong communication skills for notifying the line leader of issues, prior to packaging. The Order Puller may also be responsible to perform other duties assigned. Role Summary: The warehouse assistant is responsible for orderly storage of raw materials and finished goods; promptly supplying the raw materials needed to various production areas; transporting skidded finished goods from production areas to proper location in the warehouse; and assembling, staging and final preparation for shipment. Desired Qualifications: * High School Diploma or equivalent required. * Valid State Driver's License * Understanding and application of RFID scanning systems * A Commercial Driver's License is helpful, but not required. PI will pay for training if required. * Ability to safely operate all warehouse mobile equipment. * Normally 1-2 years production experience in a warehouse and manufacturing environment. * Previous work effectively with records containing numerical detail. * Proficient in English.
