Summary
The Warehouse Support Specialist provides support across all areas of Operations. The role exists in various warehouse support specialty areas and executes projects and requests as needed and serves as the central communication point for international shipments, order status, research and other distribution questions. The overall objective of the Warehouse Support role is providing quality service to both or internal and external customers.
Responsibilities
Handle escalated internal calls/requests from ICAN and purchasing help desks.
Monitor and respond to requests received via email or ServiceNow. Responsible for inventory and distribution of warehouse supplies. (Pick Desk Only)
Manage internal customer requests and deliveries efficiently. Housekeeping - placing bubble wrap/cardboard boxes in the proper recycle containers, including dumping product in the proper bailers and keeping the area clean at all times.

Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.

Primary Responsibilities:
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment in accordance with GXC standards.
Ensure all equipment is stored properly, clearly labeled, and accessible.
Implement a logical layout for staging, packing, and deployment readiness.
Conduct periodic inspections to ensure equipment and materials are undamaged, operational, and stored neatly.
Receive, document, and inspect all inbound deliveries.
Coordinate outbound shipments, ensuring proper packaging, labeling, and carrier scheduling.
Prepare and palletize CEIA metal detector units and related equipment (power cords, batteries, pack-out cases, etc.) for deployment.
Use pallet jacks, forklift, or similar tools to move heavy items safely and efficiently.

Verify functionality of metal detectors prior to shipment by powering on units and performing basic operational checks.
Inspect returned equipment for damage or wear; clean and prepare items for storage.

Support RMA coordination by packaging and shipping defective or damaged units to CEIA for repair.
Receive replacement or repaired units, inspect for condition, and update inventory systems accordingly.
Maintain documentation of serial numbers, shipping receipts, and RMA forms for compliance and traceability.
Act as the designated Point of Contact (POC) for the warehouse location.
Monitor and control access to the facility; ensure that all personnel entering the warehouse are authorized and logged.

Brief Summary of Duties
Brief Summary of Duties:
Maintain accurate inventory control by conducting regular cycle counts and resolving discrepancies
Efficiently pull IT equipment, verify accuracy, and scan items to create stock transfers and bills of lading
Organize items in designated storage locations, update inventory records, and communicate any stock discrepancies to the appropriate personnel
Follow shipping documents, packing slips, bills of lading, work orders, and both written and verbal instructions to complete tasks accurately
Safely transport, load, and unload parts and materials using hand carts, pallet jacks, and forklifts while adhering to equipment safety guidelines
Perform various warehouse duties across all warehouse areas as needed or directed
Includes sitting, standing, bending, twisting and the ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.

Experience and/or Education Requirements
Experience using basic computer software
Basic math skills to count IT equipment with speed and accuracy
Ability to use tools such as internal computer software to locate and gather stock with handheld devices, and bar code scanners
Knowledge of how to use a shrink wrap machine
• Be creative when it comes to marketing and be able to quickly understand the value of IT type product
Experience and/or Education Preferred
High school diploma or GED
Computer equipment and/or hardware knowledge
Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to think critically, and the ability to make logical decisions
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and share knowledge with others
Outgoing, energetic, able to multi-task, and able to prioritize workflow

As an Inventory Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining the inventory of salon products and supplies, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional service delivery. Join our team and contribute to the success of our growing campus.
Position Overview:
We seek a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Specialist to join our team. In this position, you will oversee the inventory management process, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and tracking salon products and supplies. Your efficient management will support the seamless operation of our student salon and contribute to an exceptional client experience.
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain inventory levels of salon products, equipment, tools, and supplies.
Monitor stock levels and anticipate replenishment needs to ensure an adequate supply for student salon operations.
Place orders with approved suppliers and vendors, considering budgetary constraints and product quality.
Receive incoming shipments, verifying the accuracy of delivered items and ensuring proper documentation.
Conduct regular inventory audits to reconcile physical stock with recorded quantities, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
Organize and stock shelves, cabinets, and storage areas to maximize space utilization and ease of access.
Collaborate with faculty and staff to assess student and client needs.
Coordinate with student salon staff to ensure the timely availability of required products and supplies for service provision.
Maintain accurate inventory records and generate reports as needed.
Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing efficient inventory management practices.
Requirements
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in a salon, spa, or retail environment.
Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, staff, and suppliers.
Proficiency in using inventory management software or systems.
Basic mathematical skills for inventory calculations and data analysis.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Physical stamina to lift and move salon products and supplies as needed.
