Drive vehicles with capacities under three tons in order to transport material to and from specified destinations such as warehouses and ports. Use and maintain the tools and equipment found on commercial vehicles weighing and measuring devices. Perform emergency repairs such as changing tires or installing light bulbs, tire chains, and spark plugs. Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to other vehicles, using telephones or mobile two-way radios. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or Equivalency and a minimum of 2 years experience driving preferably tractor-trailer experience; ability to operate a straight truck and tractor-trailer combinations. Prior grocery store and/or consumer products experience a plus. Customer service experience preferred. Must have a current/valid driver license (CDL is required.)
