Job Description This position will be responsible for loading and unloading product, as well as other daily operational functions. In this role, will also perform the last quality check before the product is delivered to the customer, and effectively manage inventory by maintaining proper rotation of product. WORK SCHEDULE Part-Time Overnight/Early Morning Hours This is a temporary entry level non-exempt position. Under the direction of the Distribution Center Manager (DCM) or the Assistant Distribution Manager (ADM), performs administrative tasks for the daily distribution center operations and can assist with the manual labor aspects of the operation. Expectations: * Unload case goods, bedding and/or upholstered furniture using a two wheel hand cart and second person assistance when needed. * Palletize product and box product when necessary. * Operate mobile lift equipment to bin product, place incoming product into the warehouse racks. * Based on assigned load sheet, retrieve product from aisle racks after cleared by scanner, and load trailer. * Pick-up breakage, miscellaneous wood, plastic and maintain housekeeping standards. * Check for damaged product and do not load any damaged product for shipment to customer. * Interact and respond professionally to co-workers requests. * Meet established product rates and accuracy standards. * You must have excellent listening skills and the ability to work independently and with a team. * Perform additional functions that may be assigned at the discretion of management. This position will be responsible for loading and unloading product, as well as other daily operational functions. In this role, will also perform the last quality check before the product is delivered to the customer, and effectively manage inventory by maintaining proper rotation of product. Accountabilities: Responsible for proper cycling and rotation of product by lot code and date received. Set proper shipping temperatures on the outbound vehicles. WORK SCHEDULE Part-Time Overnight/Early Morning Hours (2am - 6am) Including Weekends This is a non-exempt position requiring some experience in a warehouse environment or other related business operations experience. Reporting to the Distribution Center Manager (DCM) or Assistant Distribution Manager (ADM), performs Manual labor aspects of the operations and can assist in administrative tasks for the daily distribution center operations. Essential Functions & Responsibilities * Completes tasks related to product receiving and dispatch inclusive of time, quality and quantity verification * Assists with distributing required amount of copies to DWs. * Prints and reviews paperwork and distributes as needed. * Assists in bagging of papers for open routes when needed. * Performs administrative duties associated with the operations * Participates in all the daily operations at a Distribution Center. * Operates all office equipment including copier and computer equipment. * Maintaining a safe work environment by following safety procedures, rules, and regulations * Maintains safety and cleanliness of work area, which may include restroom facilities, interior and exterior of building, as well as retrieval of storage carts. * Availability to assist in other PCF locations if required * All other warehouse and housekeeping work as necessary.
