Overview:
The Supervisor - CFS Operations leads daily warehouse and shipping operations at our CMH facility, ensuring efficiency, service excellence, and compliance across all logistics activities. Reporting to the Senior Director of U.S. Destination Services, this role drives team performance, process improvement, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Leadership & Operations
Supervise daily warehouse and shipping functions, including scheduling, trucking coordination, billing, and invoicing.
Ensure data accuracy, KPI achievement, and billing integrity within the CMH transportation office.
Coach, mentor, and develop warehouse team members.
Partner with floor leadership to maintain efficient workflows and compliance with company standards.
Oversee CargoWise system utilization to maximize efficiency and automation.
Support recruiting, onboarding, and training for warehouse staff.
Serve as the escalation point for warehousing, billing, and documentation issues.
Provide coverage during evenings or weekends as needed.
Customer Service
Process inbound/outbound shipping documents (Air Waybills, BOLs, Manifests, Customs, DG).
Act as primary contact for air & domestic shipments, ensuring accurate inventory & shipment updates.
Manage pickup and delivery appointments and coordinate with internal and external partners.
Oversee warehouse lease billing, passthroughs, inventory reporting, and FARO entries.
Support Customs compliance and maintain clear, proactive communication with stakeholders.
Meet or exceed internal and external performance metrics.
Continuous Improvement
Maintain and enhance SOPs for shipping, receiving, and warehousing.
Verify documentation and ensure compliance with all regulatory and customer requirements.
Audit and release goods from CFS and ensure timely, accurate billing.
Prepare reports and support process improvement initiatives.
Train staff in safe forklift operation and serve as backup during peak times.
Qualifications:
5+ years of warehouse or customer service leadership experience in freight forwarding or carrier operations.
Strong knowledge of CargoWise and U.S. Customs compliance.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Effective communicator with proven coaching and team development skills.
Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 75 lbs. Occasionally.
Ability to operate forklift & other warehouse equipment safely (training/certification can be provided).
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and twist throughout the work shift.
Ability to work in various warehouse environments, including hot, cold, or noisy areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Must operate various warehouse equipment safely and complete an equipment evaluation daily each time different equipment is in use or exchanged.
Report any equipment issues immediately to direct supervisor.
Required to meet 97% productivity standards according to a scanned cases per hour tracking system.
Required to meet 100% scanning expectation for every item of product selected.
Selecting orders according to the time they are to dispatch
Entirely shrink wrap completed pallet orders and stage in reverse loading order
Consistent cleanup when selecting orders picking up labels, trash, plastic, and wood chunks etc.
Cut away plastic wrap from newly stocked pallets and remove empty pallets from pick slots stacking them in the isle way to be removed
Must maintain and apply safety awareness for all work associates at all times
Operate various models of warehouse industrial forklift equipment safely
Ability to identify and discriminate between different SKU numbers/barcodes of specified products to be moved, picked, stocked, or shipped
Other duties as needed in processing customer orders and small package shipments
Any other warehouse duties as assigned
Experience and Qualifications:
High school diploma preferred or GED accepted.
Ability to communicate and comprehend math, spelling and reading of various forms to ensure accurate records required.

Compensation Range
Compensation will be paid in the range of up to $73,000 - $81,000 + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicants knowledge, education, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Perform freight handling using appropriate motorized and manual equipment (when certified).

Mark the paperwork properly when making adjustments for product shortages.

Ensure proper code date rotation.

Position Responsibilities may include;â¯
Safely and efficiently, operate forklift and additional warehouse equipment to properly load/unload/transfer material and product without causing damage within the warehouse and to/from delivery trucks.â¯
