Essential Job Functions:
Adhere to all health and safety policies/procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and adhere to the required personal protective equipment (PPE) while in the warehouse or production areas (including but not limited to hairnets/beard nets, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard toe and slip/oil resistant shoes, appropriate safety gloves, and seatbelts while operating forklifts).
Responsible for adhering to food quality and food safety guidelines per Refresco, Customer and/or governing bodies (ex. SQF) standards.
Load and unload raw materials from incoming trucks and transport them to designated areas. Validate quantities by use of Blind Count Sheets or use of SAP transactions performed on forklift computer.
Ability to use SAP database through Vehicle Mounted Units (VMUs) installed on forklifts.
Load/unload trucks and perform all other warehouse functions within SAP using the forklift VMU.
Ability to operate powered industrial trucks (PIT's) in a high paced environment and be in-house forklift certified.
Supply raw materials to the production lines as required.
Perform pre-trip forklift inspections and adhere to forklift battery or propane tank changing operations and safety procedures.
Perform any other driving activities as directed by leadership.
Clean/maintain work areas throughout the shift.
Represents the company in a positive manner at all times.
May have production machine operation duties.
Required Skills:
Capability to read and write job instructions in the specified acceptable language(s) for the location.
Must be able to perform basic computer functions.
Must demonstrate the basic operation of powered industrial trucks.
Must be forklift certified by an approved Refresco trainer.

The Warehouse Clerk has the basic responsibility for label control, yard coordination, and administrative functions in support of the entire outbound (Shipping and Picking) operation. Label Control:
Prepare, distribute, and reprint all labels for carton/pallet pickers daily in a fair and consistent manner. Maintain a clear, consistent label flow to allow pickers the opportunity to perform in a safe, accurate, and productive manner without issue or hindrance. Track and document all labels given out.
Yard Coordination:
Utilize Y/WMS system to communicate outbound pulls and plugs to yard drivers on a daily basis. Assist supervisor to ensure trailer is properly chocked and green light is active before trailers are moved or loading begins.
Administrative Functions:
Complete computer data entry required for shipments. Issue seals to loaders. Verify accurate, pertinent information (i.e., seal number, trailer number, store number, etc.) in order to prepare Bills of Lading (BOL's) for all completed outbound loads. Schedule LTL carriers for pickup (site specific). Print work assignments for replenishment drivers. Document and file all outbound related paperwork in a neat and orderly fashion. Multitask and work with a high sense of urgency in the performance of all duties. Assist outbound supervisors with compiling and tracking downtime sheets as required. Provide service and adhere to professional etiquette when communicating with members of management, peers, customers, and visitors.

Job Summary:
Working under minimal supervision, provide accurate and timely inbound and outbound movement of materials, parts, sub-assemblies and full assemblies. Position involves use of equipment and movement devices including cranes, forklifts, pallet jacks, ladders, stairs, or pneumatic lifts, and rolling carts to assist in receiving inbound freight, pull inventory items for use or shipment, and to load and unload trucks. Additionally, driving to various work sites to complete inventory of consignment parts. Position requires accurate inventory counts, detailed paperwork and strong communication skills.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Counts, weighs and accurately identifies all items received and shipped. Ensures that materials are verified against vendor's invoices, bills of lading, customer orders, shipping documents and or other documentation
• Maintains accurate records of damaged or defective items and discrepancies in quantities and weights and records critical information such as time, date, quantity, source and destination of materials received or shipped. Provides accurate and timely documentation per work instructions to ensure accuracy of data entered into the ERP system
• Prepares items for shipments. Pulls parts, adequately packages items for safe transit, appropriately labels items for accurate shipping and notifies carriers as required to ensure timely shipment of materials
• Operates forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, pneumatic lifts and utilizes ladders, steps, rolling carts or other material handling equipment to safely access and move materials
• Utilizes computer to prepare shipping documents, reconcile shipping records with carriers and records data. Communicates via email with internal and external customers, vendors and transportation companies
• Uses computer to perform data entry in business system (SAP) or other computer applications which may Microsoft Word, Power Point & Excel documents.
• Serves as a resource with full knowledge of warehouse procedures and functions.
• May assist in training new employees; shares knowledge gained through experience
• Completes cycle counting and reconciliation in SAP.
• Works directly with outside customers on transportation and shipment of goods; may deliver and pick up material from customers or vendors
• Performs all work in accordance with established safety and quality management procedures.
• Regular attendance and compliance with all Company policies and rules is an essential function for the job. Overtime, including potential for nights and/or weekend shifts may be required.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Three (3) years combined experience in material handling, inventory, shipping and receiving preferred
• Demonstrated safe operation of forklift(s) and other material handling preferred
• Experience in selection of and coordination with common carriers (UPS, FedEx, LTL and OTR truck lines for safe and compliant transport of goods intra- and inter-state
• Knowledge of US DOT rules and regulations for shipping industrial and hazardous materials.
• Computer proficiency using Microsoft Word and Excel and e-mail program(s). Experience with ERP system (preferably SAP).
Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or the equivalent preferred
• On-site industrial forklift training and certification will be required within orientation & training period
Physical Requirements:• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Ability to move around the warehouse.
