Warehouse Coordinator (Largo, MD): Responsible for the coordination of the store's on-site activities, managing receipt, stocking, and shipping of products; staging for delivery of client orders; and all purchasing transactions with Trane and local vendors. Job Type: Full-Time Workplace Type: Onsite Office Location: Largo, MD FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Essential Duties: Staging, shipping, and receiving parts, equipment, and supplies Stock the supply stores with an appropriate amount of merchandise Inventory control Enter inventory into the software system Practice safe material handling techniques Filing of freight bills of lading, equipment packing slips, etc. for inventory reconciliation and audit purposes Filing freight claims for damaged goods Manage receipt, inspecting, and stocking products Determining inventory levels, identifying and disposing of excess and obsolete inventory, and maintaining system inventory accuracy Flexible to work outside normal business hours; weekends could be required for inventory Other duties as assigned Education and Experience Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent combination of education and experience Two years of warehouse experience is preferred Forklift experience is a plus Knowledgeable in MS Office & Outlook Organized, detail-oriented, takes initiative, keeps the area and warehouse clean Physical Requirements: Able to climb ladders to put stock away Regularly required to use hands to operate the computer keyboard, phone, and reach with hands and arms Frequently required to stand for long periods of time, walk, and sit Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus Must regularly lift and/ or move up to 25lbs, frequently lift and/ or move up to 50lbs, and occasionally lift and/ or move more than 100lbs with a device We offer: Excellent pay and benefits Great and supportive work environment Professional training and growth Generous educational assistance program Recognition and outstanding co-workers!
