This work group is comprised of the Purchasing Department. The Purchasing Department provides comprehensive procurement to order fulfillment oversight for the Colorado Mesa University campus. The Mailroom Supervisor is responsible for all incoming and outgoing campus mail, USPS package distribution, reconciliation, and provides support to fleet management. OVERVIEW AND ROLE SCOPE OF TEAM AND/OR TASKS
The Mail Room Supervisor is responsible for all incoming and outgoing USPS campus mail and packages as well as providing logistical distribution across multiple CMU campuses. The Mail Room Supervisor has working knowledge of campus mail distribution routes, mail classification and sorting, reconciliation, and on campus mail delivery and outgoing mail pick up for daily metering services. The Supervisor will take campus standard marketing mailings to processing facilities.
The Mailroom Supervisor is responsible for high level of customer service. This position is a point of contact for all carriers and campus users seeking mail services. It deploys mail services throughout varies routes while maintaining customer service at the mail room location.
Logistical abilities needed in mail classification for cost efficiencies, in recipient identification for delivery efficiencies, and in offloading to assess the best method of retrieving packages includingpallet pulls, forkliftextensions.
Mail Room Supervisor provides equipment maintenance and repair oversight for vehicles and equipment used in receiving/delivering mail on campus. This includes two mini trucks,a forklift, 15-passenger vans and various small equipment including pallet jacks, dollies and other mail moving equipment.
This position provides supportto fleet management by assisting fleet users with pick up, drop off, clean outs and gas ups. This position is responsible for supervising work study students to augment staffing needs and increase field efficiency in daily distribution.
The Mail Room Supervisor is requiredto be proficient in the department's eProcurement system and ERP software, soon to be Workday. The Supervisor will have a working knowledge of Excel with the ability to compile data and run spreadsheets in support of the mail functions including reconciliation. The Supervisor will be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, with Outlook and Teams being used as a primary form of communication.

Data Entry (15% of Job):
Manage the University's shipping accounts with vendors such as FedEx and the

Functional Mailroom Set up (5% of Job):

The AM Dock Lead is responsible for leading and supporting dock team members during a specified shift to ensure freight is properly loaded and unloaded to facilitate on-time, error-free deliveries.
This position requires up to 5% travel.
Key Deliverables:
Display a positive attitude and provide courteous, friendly service to all internal team members and external clients by responding promptly and efficiently to inquiries, requests, and complaints.
Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of Lanter Delivery Systems Non-Negotiables and apply the concepts daily.
Support a team of dock team members, ensuring procedures and policies are being followed. Coach team members as needed, praising, and reinforcing positive behaviors to encourage repeat performance as well as redirecting behaviors to stop negative performance. Document interactions in a timely manner.
Train and develop freight handlers. Provide all team members with the tools and resources needed to be successful.
Ensure safe and efficient loading and unloading of all freight. Work with team member(s) to identify and rectify unsafe practices, document the interaction(s), and follow up as needed to ensure unsafe/unwanted performance does not repeat.
Print and label specific freight, input freight data and information into computer systems accurately.
Match manifest numbers to parcel numbers.
Assist in unloading and loading of freight as needed to support team.
Operate forklift to help sort and match freight to designated areas.
Safeguard cross-dock operations and contents by establishing and monitoring safety and security procedures and protocols.
Manage conflict and issue resolution between team members and/or customers as needed. Document in a timely manner and notify supervisor of situation.

Job Summary
This position is responsible for the activities to ensure proper physical and systematic control and accuracy of inventory into, within, and out of the Mesa operations at both a component and finished goods level. Duties/Responsibilities
Work Order Fulfilling:
* Prepare, package, and deliver work orders as requested by Manufacturing leadership

Receiving:

* Enter receipts and inventory movements into ERP systems with high accuracy.
