Job purpose
This job requires strong computer and customer service skills in conjunction with a solid knowledge in construction equipment and aggregate parts. This position serves with both internal and external customers as must as have the ability to keep a calm during stressful high-call volume and other demanding situations.
Duties and responsibilities
* Loads, unloads and moves materials within or near warehouse plant or worksite.
* Examines goods shipped and verifies completeness of shipments against bill of lading, invoices, and other records.
* Route incoming shipments/goods to respective departments.
* Counts and compares quantity and identification numbers of units against order.
* Reads work order or follows oral instructions
* Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand or fork lift
* Prepares products for shipment
* Prepares identifying information/ shipping instructions on containers
* Pulls stock orders
Qualifications
* High school diploma or GED.
* Prior equipment/automotive parts experience a plus but not essential as training will be provided
* Proficient utilizing computers including Microsoft products
* Bi-Lingual, English/Spanish is a plus.
* Selected candidate will be subject to a pre-employment drug screen, background check, including MVR, and pre-employment physical.
Working conditions

Job Summary

* Maintains current driver's records to satisfy our requirements and the requirements of all state and federal regulations.
* Ensures all drivers meet Commercial Driver Licensing (CDL) requirements if they drive trucks that are above 26,000 lbs.
* Performs the appropriate SAP functions to ensure the warehouse and deliveries run as efficiently and accurately as possible.
* Performs the duties of the Warehouse Associate.
* Leads and coordinates activities associated with our inventory process.
* Communicates with internal and external customers on orders, inventory, and deliveries, etc.
* Leads daily safety meetings and updates and addresses concerns.

Qualifications

Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for warehouse-related systems and processes. Ensure effective and consistent utilization of Business Central (ERP), Redzone, Microsoft Teams, and other operational systems to support inventory accuracy, warehouse execution, reporting, and communication.
Communicate effectively, professionally, and respectfully with management, personnel, suppliers, vendors, and contractors across all locations to ensure alignment on processes, expectations, and priorities. Partner with other leaders to drive global process consistency while remaining attentive to local operational needs
Assure employees are meeting GMPs, Safety, Quality, and company standards within the department.
Manages all aspects of inventory activity including ensuring that data entry of pulls and returns, cycle counts, year-end physical and client owned inventory is complete and accurate. Ensures that robust processes are in place and adhered to ensure that raw materials and packaging materials are maintained at adequate stock levels.
Oversee warehouse operations including material pulls, staging, and deliveries to support production and packaging. Resolve material discrepancies and coordinate with production and packaging to ensure accurate and timely material flow

Moving & Hauling/Surplus Property
+ Assist in picking up Surplus Property from locations at CU Boulder and other campus locations.

+ Assist in setting up and/or disassembling furniture, workstations, or equipment using a variety of hand tools and power tools.
+ Push, pull or lift items greater than 100 lbs. using equipment and/or devices designed for such applications.
+ Apply established, standard guidelines for the safe and ecient loading and unloading of items from the trucks after pickups and breaking down items for trash or recycle as needed.

+ Operate a variety of university vehicles and equipment including forklifts, box trucks, pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.

+ Assist the Surplus Property Specialist, Logistics Coordinator, Online Sales Coordinator, and Electronics Screening staff to determine placement location of inventory for their areas and assisting in efforts to organize and maintain the back warehouse.

+ Physically move items to the recycle bin, trash dumpster, inventory shelves, or other storage areas as needed.
Other Duties
+ Assist with CU Boulder Surplus storefront during normal business hours or special events.

Position Summary
Coordinate off-loading with crafts and quality control for controlled materials. Place materials in proper area according to storage and handling lists to initiate storage. Change forms and document new location when necessary. Load, unload and move material within or near warehouse or worksite. This position is responsible for assisting with the safe distribution and storing of materials, parts, and equipment at Corden Pharma Colorado, while progressively learning job functions. Follows SOPs and established departmental policies and procedures. Responsible for moving raw materials, intermediates, finished products, inventory transactions and for performing cycle counts in SAP. Coordinates the delivery of material to the production areas/laboratories as required.. Supports the general infrastructure of the plant-site and performs general warehouse activities including the removal of waste by performing the following duties.
This is a night shift - 6PM to 6AM with a 18% shift differential in addition to the base pay.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Performs accurate electronic/paper data entry for the movement, reconciliation, receipt, shipping, and labeling of materials. Responsible for accurate inventory transactions and cycle counting in SAP
Reads, comprehends and exhibits understanding by following safety rules and the importance of wearing PPE properly
Complies with all departmental and company procedures and local, state, and federal regulations with respect to Quality, Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental policies
Attends and adheres to all required GMP training sessions housekeeping and safety practices and displays an understanding of current Corden GMP, and SOPs
Drives forklift and controls movement of lifting apparatus in deliveries of raw materials and analytical solvents to Production and laboratories. Responsible for fork truck maintenance activities
Responsible for receiving, handling, and delivering all essential raw materials to and from Manufacturing, as required
Maintains inventory control including proper storage of chemicals and manufacturing materials for safety and shelf-life, ensuring that appropriate paperwork is properly completed and filed
Demonstrates the ability to detect and respond to potential hazards and emergency situations in daily operations
Trained in SAP material movement and tracking protocols and performs timely SAP System transactions to ensure inventory accuracy
Coordinates warehouse dock, unloading and loading trucks, MRs, and Incident Reporting as needed. Informs Purchasing of damaged goods, late deliveries, and missing back-ordered items

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid Driver's License. Ability to become certified in driving a forklift, handling pallet jacks, and other similar equipment. Class A Hazardous Materials endorsement on a state-issued commercial driver's license (CDL) is a plus.

Qualifications
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management: Receiving, stocking, and organizing HVAC parts and equipment.
Driving safely to and from jobs sites to delivery parts and equipment about 50% of the time
Order Fulfillment: Picking and preparing materials for field technicians or customer orders for the day of service
Safety & Cleanliness: Maintaining a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant warehouse.
Equipment Use: Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
Shipping/Receiving: Processing incoming shipments and returns.
Support Field Crews: Ensuring technicians have the correct parts and tools.
Vehicle Operation: Confidently and safely drive company vehicles, including a 16-foot bed truck, for deliveries and pickups.
Requirements
Experience:
6+ months in warehouse or distribution preferred, but not required
HVAC industry experience is a plus
Skills:
Basic computer proficiency (email, inventory systems, etc.)
Strong attention to detail
Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs regularly
Certifications:
Forklift certification preferred; must be obtained within the first year of employment
Soft Skills:
Reliable, team-oriented, and organized
Clear communication skills and willingness to learn
Other Requirements:
Valid driver's license
Must pass background check and drug screening
