The Night Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for managing and overseeing all the functions of the warehouse and ensuring smooth operations of all activities. An individual of this profile also requires handling and managing warehouse workers and adhering to necessary safety and legal procedures of working. The position of the Warehouse Supervisor is exempt from the overtime provisions of the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act and shall be entitled to overtime compensation for hours worked in excess of 40 in any one work week. Colony Hardware is currently seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team! As a Warehouse Associate, you will be the backbone of Colony Hardware when it comes to preparing orders to get them ready to deliver to our customers. You will be a critical part of our process that keeps the commercial construction industry and our industrial customers working. A Little About Your Day: From day to day, you will be responsible for the selection of merchandise and preparing them out for shipment. Operating with a strong attention to detail, you will read pick tickets, prioritizing most critical orders, verifying items picked match the pick tickets. You will send all picked orders to the packing department after verifying all items are free of defects or damage, and then move the completed orders to appropriate shipment locations. To maximize accuracy, you will pack goods following a specific set of instructions and procedures, properly sealing, and labeling all shipments. Job description The Warehouse Supervisor at Pj Fitzpatrick is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our warehouse team, ensuring efficient processes for material management and logistics. This role involves leadership and coordination with staff to maintain a productive and organized warehouse environment. #PJFITZ2025 Key Responsibilities: Supervise and lead warehouse staff, providing training and support as needed. Coordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, ensuring accuracy and compliance with safety standards. Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including loading and unloading of materials and maintaining inventory levels. Ensure that all delivery schedules are met, and materials are delivered to job sites in a timely manner. Implement and enforce warehouse safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate records of stock levels. Assist with recruiting, scheduling, and performance management for warehouse staff. Develop and optimize warehouse processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
