Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Warehouse & Inventory

Vehicles, Yard & Facility
Manage Houston vehicles (shop and field), ensuring inspections, EZ Tag balances, and general maintenance are current.
Conduct weekly facility and yard inspections, overseeing pond upkeep, fence repairs, and contractor performance.
Coordinate building and system maintenance including AC, sewage, alarms, and permitting.
Office & Administrative
Allocate office space and manage personnel access to the facility.
Oversee utility accounts, coffee service, recycling, and cleaning vendors.
Ensure all permitting, emergency exit maps, and compliance postings are up to date.
HSE & Compliance
Conduct and document required inspections (fire extinguishers, cranes, extension cords, fall protection).
Enforce PPE usage and company EHS policies for all personnel entering warehouse and shop areas.
Maintain gas bottle supply, storage, and tracking.
Support disciplinary actions in alignment with Richmond leadership.
Skills and Abilities Required:
Strong knowledge of warehouse management, stock keeping, and inventory control systems.
Familiarity with IGS equipment, consumables, and project operations.
Knowledge of EHS regulations and facility permitting.

* Oversee packing and display of product in accordance with schematics, to ensure customer requests and needs are satisfied, including, but not limited to, matching loading procedures to warehouse/driver sheets. Reset picking lines to coordinate with corporate schematics, on a seasonal basis.
* Oversee the initial set up of fairs for daily deliveries to include accountability of all fair support materials. Emphasis on quality assurance of all outgoing products.
* Monitor inventory levels and inform management of status, avoiding out-of-stock situations. Assist with physical inventory counts, open houses and warehouse sales.
* Monitor sell rate of product to reduce out of stock shortages and recommend supplemental title replacements.
* Train staff on and maintain use of the Scanners for the Book Fairs inventory system.
* Meet, greet, and assist customers during open houses, warehouse sales, etc., in a courteous and positive manner.
* Ensure that all warehouse equipment/tools are properly utilized to increase productivity, efficiency, safety, and report any unsafe conditions/equipment or injury to Manager.
* Responsible for the careful handling of all merchandise, avoiding damage, bending or tearing.
* Use and monitor proper techniques for lifting, packing, handling heavy objects, climbing ladders, and pushing/pulling cases.
* Fill Accurate Data on Labor Data Collection Cards
* May operate forklifts during peak business periods (If certified - must be at least 18 years of age).

Comparative shopping of merchandise sold to ensure competitive prices
Receive and coordinate stocking new inventory, reconcile inventory, track and maintain inventory levels, count for existing and new inventory levels

Create and distribute daily/monthly inventory reports to management
Coordinate inventory controls with in-store buyers
Manage vendor data input in alignment with back office Accounting Manager
Collaborate with management, buyers, and staff of the retail store regarding products related to in-house buying practices and trends
Ability to assess and deliver inventory reports to above mentioned teams (moving from a manual tracking process to an automated reporting process with a new point of sale system)
Support the back-office Accounting Manager organizing accounting files for vendors and purchase orders
Supervise Warehouse employees.

Position Overview:

Oversee the initial set up of fairs for daily deliveries to include accountability of all fair support materials. Emphasis on quality assurance of all outgoing products.
Monitor inventory levels and inform management of status, avoiding out-of-stock situations. Assist with physical inventory counts, open houses and warehouse sales.
Monitor sell rate of product to reduce out of stock shortages and recommend supplemental title replacements.
Train staff on and maintain use of the Scanners for the Book Fairs inventory system.
