MATERIAL HANDLER - 1st Shift M-F The Material Handler is responsible for the safe movement of materials, chemicals and related components throughout the facility and grounds. Utilizing hand equipment, motorized pallet and lift trucks and forklifts to complete related tasks. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment and assisting multiple departments with related tasks as necessary. Essential Job Duties: Taking direction from the Production Managers and Group leads for safe and efficient material handling necessary to provide support to production and the logistics team. Support the team to ship quality product on time Oversight and safe operation of equipment Material handling Inventory control / locating material / issuing to point of use Loading and unloading of delivered materials / goods Replenish lubricants as needed into holding tanks while maintaining inventory control on lubricants and packaging supplies to support production requirements. What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.
