This job also responds to urgent customer needs or supply disruptions to ensure customer commitments are fulfilled. Responsibilities * Oversees daily inbound processing operations including receiving, put away, and returns. Ensures operations are in compliance to the business unit's standard operating procedures and implements operational changes cascaded from the Site Director. * Directs people management processes for the warehouse, including staffing, training and development, and talent management for 30-70 staff. Recognizing the employees' diverse skillsets and levels of experience, provides motivational leadership and champions a culture of high performance, learning, and safety. * Responds to disruptions in inbound processing and ensures that customer commitments are fulfilled. Communicates with Sales and Customer Service teams within the business unit to understand customer concerns and makes adjustments to operations and people resources in response. * Manages all safety trainings and procedures for warehouse operations, ensuring that operations are in compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
