In performing day-to-day routine tasks follow established guidelines. + In handling unusual non-routine problems, receives specific guidance from supervisor or other officials. + Primary purpose is to perform any necessary or required grounds maintenance duties. + Reports all accidents/incidents to Supervisor. + Operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties. **Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.** **What You'll Need to Be Successful:** + High school diploma or GED. + OSHA certified forklift operator. + One (1) or more years of experience in warehouse operations. + Working knowledge of Navy Supply Operating System (ERP). + Class A CDL preferred. **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:** + Ability to utilize normal material handling equipment (MHE) to include pallet jacks, VIDMAR systems and forklifts. + Ability to utilize ERP AIT devices. + Ability to lift, move and set down lightweight parts under 45 pounds without use of MHE. + Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time. + Ability to bend, crouch, stoop, stretch, reach push loaded part carts, boxes of parts, etc. Ability to climb stairs or ladders and work in confined spaces. + Finger dexterity is required to operate a computer keyboard. + Must have the hand/eye coordination necessary to operate office business machines (calculator, phone, copier, etc.) and a personal computer. + Ability to expertly communicate both orally and/or in written format. + Ability to follow guidelines to arrange objects or actions in a certain order. + Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
