Stamm Media is looking to hire an audio-visual warehouse supervisor to join our team in our Las Vegas, NV office. This person would oversee the day-to-day operations as the sister warehouse to our Milwaukee, WI location.
Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day warehouse operations and ensure that all incoming and outgoing inventory is prepped and maintained according to show schedules
Oversee the loading and unloading of trucks
Maintain strict standards while returning and quality checking all equipment returning to the Stamm warehouse
Prepping / testing equipment for jobs
Maintaining a close eye on all inventory with regular check-ins with leadership to ensure all broken/missing items are replaced and billed in a timely fashion

Summary
The Lead Warehouse Associate will be responsible for overseeing the handling of customer products, including the loading and unloading of product. This leadership role will be responsible for assigning work and work functions to all warehouse associates as necessary to meet the needs of the customer. Following company and site-specific safety policies, and encouraging other associates to do the same, is of great importance to this position.
What You'll Do:
Assign tasks to warehouse personnel through written and/or oral instruction, including: unloading, outbound staging and loading, verifying and labeling of freight.
Supervise tasks performed by warehouse personnel.
Complete reports and records in a timely manner.
Troubleshoot machine and equipment malfunctions and report them to maintenance personnel.
Advise associates on care and preservation of product, use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, shipping stock, and related problems.
Ensure high-quality customer service through assisting associates in warehouse functions when help is needed.
Take action and speak to associates when proper safety, quality, and productivity procedures are not being followed.
Work cooperatively and productively with other warehouse associates.
Adhere to company or site-specific safety policy and guidelines to ensure safe working conditions for self and others.
Additional duties may be assigned by supervisor.
What We Need from You:
Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of two (2) years' experience working in a warehouse environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

Implement a logical layout for staging, packing, and deployment readiness.
Conduct periodic inspections to ensure equipment and materials are undamaged, operational, and stored neatly.
Receive, document, and inspect all inbound deliveries.

What you will be doing:
Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, and/or distributed
Pulls and prepares product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded
Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code
Assembles customer orders from stock, stage orders and/or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department according to OH or customer pick sheet
Loads, unloads, moves, stacks and stages products and materials using a fork lift, clamp truck or other power equipment
Requirements:
High school education or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency
Minimum 3 to 6 months experience and/or training in a warehouse environment
Previous experience operating forklift is required
Ability to follow safety regulations while operating equipment
Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to learn proper operations of warehouse equipment

Job Description
The Receiving Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all receiving, storage, and replenishment activities to ensure efficient material flow and inventory accuracy. This role focuses on developing and deploying best practices to optimize day-to-day operations, including inventory control, customer backorder recovery, space planning, third-party logistics (3PL) management, optimizing pick locations, and supporting new product launches. The leader in this role will drive operational excellence through coaching, mentoring, and the application of lean principles to achieve key objectives related to safety, quality, productivity, cost, customer service, and inventory accuracy.
Shift: Monday - Thursday 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM, You will normally work this shift, however may need to work on Fridays based on company needs.
Responsibilities
Oversee the performance of the receiving and put-away team, ensuring efficiency in receiving, storage, inventory control, backorder recovery, space utilization, and 3PL management.
Lead the picking and replenishment team, ensuring accurate inventory control, on-time delivery, and escalation of quality issues as needed.
Drive achievement of key operational metrics related to safety, quality, productivity, cost, customer service, and inventory accuracy.
Implement best practices through lean methodologies, including Kaizen events, value stream mapping, problem-solving, A3 action planning, and standard work.
Leverage data-driven decision-making to optimize workflow, improve customer service, and enhance storage efficiency. Proactively identify and address bottlenecks and inefficiencies in material flow.
Regularly audit current processes to identify opportunities for improvement and reinforce a continuous improvement mindset across the team.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 20-25 employees, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
Qualifications
Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Management
Minimum of 3 years management experience in manufacturing, warehousing or distribution
Experience with Lean Management
Experience with warehouse management systems
Expertise with Excel, PowerPoint
