Our Warehouse Cleaning/Janitorial positions perform the following duties within designated work areas, as assigned at the beginning of each shift:
Cleaning restrooms, break areas (indoor/outdoor), office areas
Sweeping, mopping, dusting, removing trash
Ensure all walkways are clean and tidy at all times
Clean totes and other items
Some deep cleaning, as needed
Follow all safety and quality standards
Other basic janitorial duties as assigned
Requirements for our Warehouse Cleaning/Janitorial Positions:
Ability to lift and move totes up to 49 pounds
Walking in and around the facility with great frequency throughout the entire shift
Must be able to stand and walk for up to 10-12 hours

Assembly and Wrapping
Accurately assembles custom procedure trays, learning to identify medical components by description and vendor item number.

Moves carts to the appropriate area in the warehouse.
Receives the components' from each zone, annotates the license plate by crossing out the zone on the front of the license plate.
Places all expiration products with a red dot on the top shelf of each cart for visibility.
Places a license plate on the front and back of the accumulation cart to easily identify the work order/job/lot number from each end.
Writes or prints information from the computer on the status of work orders Ready/Waiting.
Compares identifying information and counts items in totes to verify information against generated labels produced by the ERP system.
Adds the Components Shortages Form to the front of the Device History Record (DHR).
Accumulators will stamp the right corner of the DHR folder with the accumulated date with the provided stamp. Writes the cart location, number of carts in the applicable line, circle Ready/Waiting.
Accumulator's are responsible for handling all missed accumulated items
Follows established departmental policies, procedures and objectives, and ensures a safe working environment.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties in each warehouse work area when needed.
Palletizer Duties:
Loads or unloads pallets using lift trucks and/or pallet jackets.
Prepares pallets for shipping by using the shrink-wrap machine.

We are currently seeking to hire a Warehouse Specialist to support a busy supply activity at the Combatant Craft Division at Carderock on Naval Station Norfolk, VA.
The Warehouse Specialist performs a variety of warehousing duties that require an understanding of the establishment's storage plan. The work involves most of the following:
Verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages.
Routing materials to prescribed storage locations.
Storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods.
Rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials.
Examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage
Removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment.
May need to operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.
The following job functions are basic requirements but other related duties may be assigned:
Assist the Supply Department Manager in receiving, stocking, inventorying, issuing, packing, and shipping of all facility tools and material.
Diligently follow all policies, procedures, documentation, and protocols to maintain positive control of all facility tools and material.
Maintain 100% accurate tool and material location and inventory.
Maintain overall warehouse cleanliness and intelligent organization and storage of tools, equipment, and material.
Assist in researching, quoting, sourcing and procuring of parts, equipment and subcontracted services on behalf of our government customer.
Provide status reports as requested to senior management and customer.
Assist in material delivery and pickup from shipper or vendor locations.
Perform routine logistics and warehouse functions assigned by supervisor at their discretion.
Additional interdepartmental collateral duties as assigned by management.
Work Conditions:
May be required to work first shift (0700-1530) or second shift (0830-1700).
Work will be performed in enclosed buildings, office areas, and industrial warehouse environments.
Work will include sitting, standing, walking, lifting, and reaching.
Requirements
Education/Experience/Skills:
One to three (1-3) years of experience in supply/warehousing or inventory operations.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Prior military veterans in Supply-Logistics Rating/MOS strongly encouraged to apply.
CDL license is highly desired
Must be self-motivated, process-oriented, punctual and have excellent time-management skills.

PCSI is looking for a **Warehouse Specialist l** ! As directed, performs a variety of warehousing duties which require an understanding of the established storage plan. **This position will report to the Warehouse Supervisor/Project Manager and is based in Norfolk and Virginia Beach, VA. All three shifts available: 7:30am-4pm, 3:30pm-11pm, and 11pm-7:30am.**

**What You'll Do as a Warehouse Specialist I:**
+ As directed, performs a variety of warehousing duties which require an understanding of the established storage plan.
+ Work involves most of the following: verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages; routing materials to prescribed storage locations; storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods.
+ Perform warehouse functions including receiving, storing, moving and shipping inventory using Material Handling Equipment (pallet jacks and forklifts).
+ Rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials; examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage; and removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment.
+ Performs clerical and physical tasks in connection with shipping goods of the site in which employed and receiving incoming shipments. In performing day-to-day routine tasks follow established guidelines.
+ In handling unusual non-routine problems, receives specific guidance from supervisor or other officials.
+ Primary purpose is to perform any necessary or required grounds maintenance duties.
+ Reports all accidents/incidents to Supervisor.
+ Operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.

**What You'll Need to Be Successful:**
+ High school diploma or GED.
+ OSHA certified forklift operator.
+ One (1) or more years of experience in warehouse operations.
+ Working knowledge of Navy Supply Operating System (ERP).
+ Class A CDL preferred.
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:**
+ Ability to utilize normal material handling equipment (MHE) to include pallet jacks, VIDMAR systems and forklifts.
+ Ability to utilize ERP AIT devices.
+ Ability to lift, move and set down lightweight parts under 45 pounds without use of MHE.
+ Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
+ Ability to bend, crouch, stoop, stretch, reach push loaded part carts, boxes of parts, etc. Ability to climb stairs or ladders and work in confined spaces.
+ Finger dexterity is required to operate a computer keyboard.
+ Must have the hand/eye coordination necessary to operate office business machines (calculator, phone, copier, etc.) and a personal computer.
+ Ability to expertly communicate both orally and/or in written format.
+ Ability to follow guidelines to arrange objects or actions in a certain order.
+ Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy.
+ Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
+ Work requires continual attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
+ Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.
+ Ability to pass criminal, drug, and driving screening.
+ Ability to work outside in inclement weather as needed and be exposed to various dirt, debris, and odors.
+ Ability to work any time or day of the week, including weekends and holidays.
+ Possess valid driver's license and maintain good driving record.
+ If required, ability to obtain and maintain security clearance and base access to assigned site(s).
