Position Main Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: o Assist Warehouse Supervisor and Warehouse Manager in areas of: o Training, Safety, Auditing and Conduct Daily Pre-Shift Meetings o Oversee receiving and dispatching procedures for shipments o Monitoring inventory and shipment transactions for accuracy o Ensure high standards of quality and accuracy in inventory, order fulfillment and shipment transactions o Monitor Warehouse activities to ensure productivity goals are met o Ensuring inventory and storage areas are clean and maintained to prevent accidents o Pick and select products, palletize products, shrink wrap carts/pallets and load trailers using powered equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts o Assist in preparation of WHS loading maps and pre-shift agenda o Continuously monitor compliance of safety and security procedures Required Skills and Experience: · Must be at least 18 years of age · Possess Puerto Rico Driver's license · Three (3) years of related work experience · Available to work any schedule, including weekends and holidays · Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions · Knowledge/proficiency operating a PC (MS Office) · This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test Preferred Skills and Experience: · Previous experience in Food distribution industry · Experience working in a distribution/logistics/manufacturing environment · Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment · Proficient in inventory management and/or invoice software · Ability to remain stationary for extended periods of time, when working on the warehouse floor · Computer skills (proficiency in Microsoft Office, excel, outlook) Physical Demands and Work Environment: Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
